I myself have 2 pures...a staker, and a pure ranger.

 

 

 

 

 

The point is, everyone is making them. People who had made billions off of being lame and merchanting have money to spend. That's why you see these lvl 40 ranger pures with fury's and robin sets. There are lvl 50's staking 100 mil at a time...it's insane.

 

 

 

you see more stakers it seems now adays though. The stakers dont do anything else but no life a high lvled stat, and use transfered gp to make more gp.

 

 

 

The pkers are often not as good as a stakers, because kids who have no idea how to pk are making pures...and trying to do something they can't. It's kind of funny.

I agree with Kashi, but still, people have more than one, they have 3 or 4

 

 

 

They should train them on emptier worlds where they don't bother us.

 

 

 

I don't have a pure, but when people are training there pures, they seem to think they're better than us all.

I have never Liked pures, they're just annoying, and when you pk, you hardly make money.

 

 

 

I will Never ever agree that pures are good for making money, they're just a waste of time, sure, making 50k a kill is okay, but its not much if you want to make money, Stakers are okay money makers, but the fact that most of them cheat, pot, and just waste food, potions, and money just to make money is odd, because you train with those potions, rather than making money..Its like real life, everyone wants more money. Except some people need the money.

Runescapes falling apart, it's becoming less and less medieval. I miss the RSC days where an update was like Jesus reviving, and PKing was fun.

It was NEVER medieval. EVER. Jagex said that there was no time frame around the game. I mean really, have you seen that Doris lady in that house up in edgeville? She has some of them hair roller things in. Yeah, real medieval.

 

 

 

And I don't have a problem with pures, just the cocky ones. Now I can't go into a bank without seeing "0wnj 00 o o0 o0 o" and "pee kay rr o 0 o o 0 o 0o" going at it saying that "mi mane wil own j00." It's pathetic, really. Just you're a pure doesn't make you superior.

Well I'm pretty sure my pure isn't ruining anyone's lives. It's a defence / skiller pure. Some people, like me, make pures because whatever they're doing on their main is boring (For me, getting 99 fm). I feel like you're all bashing on every kind of pure, when mine doesn't kill you and take your stuff (Far from it, I'd be the one dying, I can't even hit 2's :lol: ). I just kill chickens and raise f2p stats! LEAVE SKILLER PURES LIKE ME OUT OF THIS! :XD:

i wouldnt say that rs is falling apart, but yes there are many pures alot of them being f2p iron hybrids

1. Pures didn't invent highscores

 

2. High levels could easily kill a pure, I could kill one in 2 Dagger specials.

 

3. Most pures ARE bad, but not all, and we're not talking about how bad some pures are, we're talking about the ammount.

 

4. You location makes you sound like a merchant, and merchants are just as bad.

The only reason why there seem to be so many pures of because they are the only people in the duel arena and in wildy. reglar people dont dare go near wildy because they know there are just too many pures.

 

 

 

it all started when one guy got owned by the 1st pure. then, that guy made his own pure. the cycle continued until normal players stood away from wildy.

 

 

 

if u go to a bar, u arent going to see rich people wearing the most expensive things. since most people in bars arent rich, you are going to assume that there are more poor people than well of people in the neighborhood, even if the bar is between Trump and Clinton's 20mil mansions. :wink:

3. Many pures aren't bad. The ratio of high level pures to low level immature pures is much higher than the ratio of high level mains to low level immature mains. There are fewer pures in rs2 than rs1.

Btw, alot of the times regular pures own mains there lv is because the mains aren't equipped with the proper things, and have no clue on how to pk.

A lot of the time I find their names amusing.

 

Things like 'Pkr ftw' 'lol own j00' and things along those lines. They sometimes give it away a bit though...Silly pures :-w

I'd much rather have a lot of pures owning each other then just a couple of pures that own everyone. And if you can't beat them, join them.

honestly pures in deep wildy suck. How do you know what you're gonna come against? And obviously if you bring a change of armor, you'll need time to adjust and atleast 50 agility...

 

As far as F2P is concerned... it's gotten out of hand, but if I had a ranger, I'd atleast want 40 def for the range bonus on the armor. Ditto for a mage on P2P

 

 

 

I've been testing a pure prayer character... not so easy but the more I use it, the more balanced it becomes.

 

 

 

And as far as castle wars is concerned... I think there are just too many people who go into Sara (or Zammy) and play for the other team... THAT'S pathetic

C wars is usually infested with pures when I'm playing... Got owned by lvl 70 he hit 24-24 and I'm dead. One of the reasons I don't play c wars too often nowadays.

Secondly to adress the post if your getting owned by pures stay away from them... thre not really hard to spot expesically if you know what they typically wear and when they names like i own i i mean geez if you get pked by pures all the time maybe you need to learn to spot them or stay out of the wildy and pures only contribute to the economy by buying my sharks....

 

 

 

Oh and if your saying pures kill you so fast level up your mele skills,mage,range or wahtever you pk with and leanr to mage bank pk where low combat doesnt matter and without defense you get owned simple as that

I've played since june 2001 and i'd say that in rsc there were WAY more pure accoutns then ur normal main/skilling account. Everyone andt heir brother had at least 3 pure accounts. everyone had to ahve the obligatory 35-40 pure a black pure and many addy pures came in near the end of rsc. training was so hard that the f2p wildy was FILLED with pkers many people preferred pking over skilling. anyone from rsc remembers that lobs pretty much ran the economy. TO this day i still remember my levels by what the price of lobs were at the time lol.

i donno, ive been playing for a long time...it just seems bad, people make pures never for good reasons...and sometimes involes :ohnoes: macroing...

But then you came by saying that pures are never created for good reasons.... ????? WTF ?? How would you know ? I think every single RS char is created to have fun and benefits in any way possible. And when I created my very own pure it was for no other reason then to beat lots of other people pking. And what is with the macroing ??? What makes a pure a macroer ? =\ and also explain me how people macro their strength ? ok stupid question they got bots that can almost even think for themselvesbut still, I think less then 0.1% of the pures train by macroing or are created for "bad reasons" ? Why do you people talk as if RSC didn't have "pures"? They had names back then, iron, steel, black, mith, ect.. They had what we call Tank Mages and Rangers along with impures(a character with magic but combat stats besides defense). Quit acting as though dueling and pking weren't that big then and now. THERE'S NO DIFFERENCE BESIDES THE NUMBER OF THEM. There's well over a million users now and if some plays for awhile and wants to make a pure why can't he/she?

 

 

 

How about you quit acting like you know it all? Impures were far from having combat stats besides defense. Impures were the "mains" of people. They had average joe stats like 60 all or 70 all, instead of 50 10 70 for example. Defense was the only advantage impures had over pures. :roll:

 

 

 

How about you quit acting like you know it all. Defence is a huge bonus over pures, especially if you are over 90 combat. Pures arent killing runescape, Noobs are killing runescape. (if anyone is actually killing it at all.) Quit whining.
