I went to a Raw show once (not by my choosing >.>). Be prepared to see some of the strangest people you've ever seen in your life.

Aw man, your timing blows, sorry to break it to you. Stephanie McMahon went into labour today, so Vince McMahon, Triple H and possibly Shane McMahon will be absent tonight.

Heh, my friend's mom used to work for the WWF from 1999-2002 so we got to go see them every time they came to Toronto. We went to about seven events and even got to see the first RAW ever in Toronto.

 

 

 

Since she worked for them we got alot of special treatment. We were driven to the Skydome in a limo for RAW, we got to meet almost every big wrestler at the time, we got floor tickets for every event, we got to visit the VIP boxes after the event where we got free magazines and food and watched them take the ring apart.

 

 

 

At the time I was a huge wrestling fan so it was amazing.

 

 

 

I would still go, even if I didn't get all the special treatment because just going to the show and seeing it first-hand is very fun.

I wouldn't be too excited. I almost laughed when I saw how small their audiences are now compared to a few years back. I went to one event with my dad when I like like 12 and it was a fully packed stadium, like...Thousands upon thousands of people. Now they're lucky to have a couple hundred. :lol:

The whole wrestling scene has gone to hell in the past few years from what I've heard. The WWF bought up WCW [and ECW I think?] and as far as I know, they pretty much shut everything else down to focus on the WWF.

 

 

 

Stuff like that is sure to annoy alot of fans, especially when alot of their favourite wrestlers are no longer "viable".

Anyway, I'm not as big of a fan now as I was around this time last year but I still watch sometimes, I even went to a live event (RAW) in Ontario a few weeks ago :D
