Very helpful, although I haven't tried it - it'll definately help my wrist out when I get to alching 26k yew longs I have ready to go. Thanks a bunch for posting this. :D

OK, i have a problem with this guide, a real one.

The reason is this:

1. Old news, someone taking credit from the 1sts.

2. Bumping. Oh god, what is it with these kids who come from official forums and just keep on bumping their threads. Wasn't it a rule that you're not suppose to bump? should be at least. It's like these forums are so busy, especially help&advice that you have to bump/post trash. Link in sig should do.

Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either

a fool or a coward.

Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law

is both.

For a wounded man shall say to his assailant:

"If I live, I will kill you, If I Die, you are forgiven."

Such is the Rule of Honor.

Been around for a while. Thanks for clearing the legality of it up though. I stopped after a mod told me they weren't sure whether I should do it or not :-s

You saying alchy made me feel angry...

And well done with the 5 posts-in-a-row/numberous double posts :-w

ya, but this only works if you don't do stuff while you alch (such as theive gems, mine rune ore, etc)

This guy is seriously pushing my buttons. Do you have nothing better to do than to go 'pissy' on a post that is trying to help people? Why don't you go bother people that are trying to tick people off or ruin the forums? Also, know who you call a kid m8. I'm probably old enough to be your father. And as for taking credit? Not at all. I've allready posted that I got this from the RuneScape forums and am posting it to allow more people to know about the method. Now i'd like it if you never posted on this forum again, and if you do (which you will) make the post positive and proactive?

Thanks to the other folks who enjoy the method.

I seriously doubt you'd be old enough to be my father, not everyone in the game are the average 12-year olds.

If by any means you are as old as you claim to be, why oh why do you act nooby? There's nothing more annoying than numerous times of postings just to get your post on the top.

I don't want to sound this harsh but act your age. This post will most likely help many but still, you should at least read the RULES. Especially the part 1.2 - Irritating Posting Styles/Spamming. As far as i know, this is not the marketplace.

If you had went by the rules then this topic would not have annoyed so much, just wanted to point out in the early stage that this is in fact old news and has been discussed before, pointint this out to mods as well who locked this allthough it was allready confirmed to being legal (yes, i got a scr shot of my inbox about it).

EDIT: read the quote again, and sorry, i must've missed the part where you said you picked it up from rs.com. My apologies on the matter concerning it.

Val, do I see "Super-Mod" under your name?

I understand this is old news but once again, i'll point out that many people are unaware of the ability to use this method. Tell me, why are there people posting thanking me, and showing gratitude that I took the time to post this. Also, your the only one I see that is complaining... do you enjoy trying to point out every flaw that a 'person' makes? Flaws are flaws. People are people. Accept the fact that mistakes happen, like in your spelling. I have to strain my eyes a bit to understand some of the phrases you 'attempt' to spell out, but I accept the fact people make mistakes when they type in the state you seem to be in, 'rage of the world and all in it. Apology accepted, just a tip... Before you start criticizing people on every point of their post, would you do me a favor and just thrive to glance at the post a few times? It may eliminate some of the critisizm you have to offer.

Thanks.

Laptop, sorry, not possible.

Actually, with a laptop it is very possible and in fact easier than doing all that with a PC. With most laptops (or mine at least lol), you get this sort of deal to control the cursor,

l0larml4.png

which is below the keyboard. So all you do is position the cursor on the item then keep hitting the left click button, and voila! By the way, nice saying in your sig

i knoew this method i read it on the runecape forums, it is very handy i sold abt 4k willow longs(u) in less than 15 mins i think. But in the high alch thing u gotta wait till after u alched the first thing abt 3 secs be4 u click again, otherwise it stops and doesn't go back to the magic book screen.

:(

GUYS THIS IS EXTREMELY HANDY USE IT IF U KNOW IT

how can it be illegal if ur sitting at the comp pressing the '5" button. Macroing is having a program to the the game for u while ur NOT sitting at the computer.

thanks for reading

Well, not all of us are from english speaking countries, as you must know.

The reason they thank you is simple, they didn't know it, which of course occurs from not reading the previous posts about the subject. By all means point out the typo's that you see in my writing, i don't mind that at all.

I am glad though that you must have read the rules since you stopped bumping the post which is so vain if you keep a link in your sig of this. and i have never claimed to be a mod, that doesn't mean that you can still break the rules and conduct of good posting.

And for the record, if you can't stand the heat of criticism, then you shouldn't bother posting because there will allways be at least 1 person who disagrees with you.

Hi. I would just like to contribute my little trick to training faster.

I call it 'the 1 2 click method'.

It is ideally used for making arrows but can be used for any other combining of objects in your inventory too.

It is pretty simple to execute, lets call the items you want to combine A, and B.

1. Click on item A once.

2. Click on B twice.

3. Click on A twice.

4. Goto 2.

(Doing the standard trick of having one of each item at the bottom so they stay there as you do it)

Doing this means in an inventory of 14 of each item you only have to move the mouse between the objects 14 times. where as clicking A,B,A,B,... you would have to move the mouse 28 times.

If you can do it without accidently moving the itme slightly you can save loads of time eventually.

gd guide ill use this when i have 10k yews to alch

Me thinks everyone has figured that out :)
