Lmao. Why would a jew be in passion of the CHRIST.

I really hope that was a joke....

Yeah... :P

why would that be a joke? Why would a religous group be part of something that they don't believe in? Last time I checked jews don't believe in christ...

Oh dear Lord...

Ever heard of a chap called Jesus? AKA, King of the Jews. Jesus was born in Israel, where Jewish is the national religion. Therefore Jesus, AKA Christ, was a Jew.

Granted, Jews do not believe Jesus was the messiah, and publiclly degrade his name, but as Jesus was Jewish, there will inevitably be a Jew, somewhere in The Passion of Christ. That Jew is called Jesus.

I didn't say Jesus wasn't jewish, I didn't say jews didn't believe OF Jesus. I said jews don't believe IN Jesus. Plain and simple. No need to argue. The jewish belief system dosn't include Jesus....

Im getting tired of this..

You said this:

Lmao. Why would a jew be in passion of the CHRIST.

Answer: There must be a Jew in the storyline of Passion of the Christ, because passion of the Christ is about Jesus, who was Jewish.

Jews are taught that the Christian religion is a religion fit only for animals, and that its founder, Jesus, was the son of a prostitute and is presently immersed in a pit of boiling excrement in hell".

That's what I mean by publically degrade his name. I may be wrong and this be not be commonplace, but that's why I said it.

That's utter BS, and I can tell you that as a jewish Israeli.

Ah. In which case I should do more research before posting.

I retract that statement, and apologise for any offence caused to anyone.

Jesus is female durrrr...

YES!! This is the best thing to happen for...a long time.

The reason this makes me so happy is: A movie with Rob Schneider AND Mel Gibson would be HORRIBLE. :|

It's okay. Thanks for the apology, it's accepted :D!

As far as I know, Jews are taught to respect other religions... never to try to convince others to convert, but to let them be... though I think most religions are supposed to agree with the "respect other religions" bit and it's just individuals who fail miserably at that :(

Everybody hug and spread the love :D

While I do not agree with what Mel Gibson said, atleast he has since came forward to publically apologize.

You say that as though it is a credit to his character - he had no choice. At least, not if he ever wanted to work again.

good for him =D>

Lol, speaking of mel gibson, i just saw the episode of south park where they see "the Passion" \'

So good for him.

Unfortunately (for Rob Schneider), to do his (Rob Schneider's) absolutely abysmal acting skills, this is also good for Mel Gibson, as he will never have to deal with this sub-par actor bringing down a future movie that Mr. Gibson will be producing :P

"Ooh boo hoo, somebody badmouthed Mel Christian Hero Gibson, I'm gonna badmouth his acting skills now!!!1"

To Insane's defence - Rob Schneider is absolutely awful. Not even bottom of the barrel - they had to drill a hole in the bottom of the barrel and then put it on top of a well.

Very true, but Insane's intentions behind the post are suspect.

Wow, good for Rob :uhh: Seriously - good on him.

Save us all a world of pain of that pusyy-hurt tosser got out of the industry.

My gosh, you just made my day

Despite Rob Schneider's light tone, I do think he was making an (intentional) important statement, and so... I don't think it's something to only joke about.

It's celebrity gossip... we have to joke about it

He's a bit late isn't he. Gibson already pleaded and everything. Besides, if you look at the list of movies Rob has been in, POTC: Return of the Christ would be an impossible jump :P

Stupid thing, really. No matter what his personal opinions is, he's a good actor and a good director (imo). That's all you need to have a good working relationship with someone. So Richard Burton was a drunkard. Lots of actresses act like prostitutes. Tom Cruise is a scientologist :P

Everyone gets on the nerve of someone in some way or the other, it's inevitable. People must stop being so sensitive about stuff.

Sorry but there's no way you can equate being a drunk or being a scientologist with being a racist.

He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart,

and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God.
