August 14, 200619 yr Wow.. really reminds us of what a sad day that was. Poor guy. He was just going to work an 8 hour shift and go home to his wife and kids.... 9/11 is not really something that anyone wants to remember, but it will always be in the back of our minds. :( Slayer500 / 23M+ Prayer XP / 126 Combat in Spring '06
August 14, 200619 yr Author Hollywood can't make a sadder clip. Him talking about his kids and reassuring his wife, then the fire department saying there almost there, and finally the scream then sudden silence followed by the sickening feeling knowing that he just died, as did everyone running up the stairs to save him  People always say 2800 people died, but they just treat it like a statistic. They don't assign names and lives to each person.

Holy [bleep].. just watched it, I really don't know what to say
August 14, 200619 yr I heard one of these before and it makes me sad. I'd rather not listen to another one :( ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
August 14, 200619 yr I heard one of these before and it makes me sad. I'd rather not listen to another one :( Same, i'd rather not listen to it. I can handle all the blood, gore and violence you can throw at me, but I hate listening to stuff like this. :( edit @ a few posts above: That quote "1 death is a tragedy, a thousand is a statistic" was said by stalin I belive? Tell me if i'm wrong, but thats who said it I think. Sadly, it's true.
August 14, 200619 yr Wow.. Was bad to hear it like this, can't imagine how it'd be to be the 911 operator listening to this live. Pixel sigs by me.Pixel Art

August 14, 200619 yr this is what fuels tha hatred for the middle eastern countries, IMO - nuke the whole country. an eye for an eye. i strongly support vigilante justice.
August 14, 200619 yr this is what fuels tha hatred for the middle eastern countries, IMO - nuke the whole country. an eye for an eye. i strongly support vigilante justice. An eye for an eye and the whole world goes blind. If you are serious about nuking countries which country(s) would you nuke in retaliation for 9/11? This is the kind of thinking that is going to get alot of American soldiers killed when we end up getting forced into a war with Iran.
August 14, 200619 yr That was really sad :( The silence at the end just really hit home. Yeah I felt the same way. And to think that the terrorist think that they are justified in doing these evil acts. :x :(

August 14, 200619 yr The thing that struck me more than anything is that the guys were just sitting there, [bleep]ing at some lady on the phone who could do nothing. It'd be one thing if they were trapped and couldn't go anywhere or anything, but to just lay there and do jack.. I mean, if that was me, and I really wanted to live, I would rip apart chairs, wrap the leather/whatever I had around myself, and run through the bloody fire, or do something. I could insert a quote from the guy from Saw here, but, that may be a bit much. Not that I want to start killing people, but I do beleive that there are some who don't appreciate life enough.

Much easier said than done I'd assume. No-one knows what it was like in there really.
August 14, 200619 yr Yes this is sad, but whats sadder is the people who make the other videos i saw on there. Putting together to show all the destruction that happend. That day shouldnt be remembered for the terrorist did, that will just bring fear and hate into people. We dont need anymore of that... Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! August 14, 200619 yr People apparently don't do that math in their head - Either you run through a fire and risk being burned, or you die anyways...Geez, tough choice...? If you're going to die, you might as well TRY to save yourself...If you die trying to save yourself, you didn't lose anything, because you would have died anyways. But then again, I'm sure he didn't know the building was about to topple over, either. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!

But then again, I'm sure he didn't know the building was about to topple over, either. Yeah it would probably be really easy to run through thick hot smoke without being able to see where you are going. He kept commenting on how bad the smoke was so I'm sure it wasn't just avoid the fire and make it down the stairs to safety.
August 14, 200619 yr Author Yea...a plane smashed into the floor a few below his. So first off the starcases are probably gone, and secondly the entire floor is engulfed in flames, apparently hot enouph to melt steel and cause the destruction of the building. People were jumping out the windows, I don't think they would do that if they could make it down with just a few burns.
August 14, 200619 yr :( Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!
August 14, 200619 yr R.I.P Kevin Cosgrove, and all those people that perished. You Guys were too young to die. I know you remain lifeless, but you still live in our hearts. I was three back then and I came home from my freinds house and on the raido (Which was scratchy) I hear "Oh my god! Anoth pshhhh ane into pshhhhh tower!" I told my mom to turn a little to the left (I was still good with tech back then \ ) Then he reapeats "All of those who are just tunning in, two planes have just crashed into the twin towers in New York City, New York." So we rush home and turn on the T.V and I see it, The south tower engulved(sp) In smoke. We watched for a few hours and I saw them go down... Good thing we had iO and we watched it all over.
