umm..... un less you have a safespot when you afk and your prayer runs out your screwed

Simply wear Lord's inventory...

 

 

 

But Use Crystal bow at first.

 

 

 

Turn on highest range prayer, use Crystal bow on Portal.

 

Once your portal is KO'd , switch to knives and own some NPC's.

 

 

 

You should get 40-55 tickets a hour plus 20-30k xp from the game.

 

Thats 80k xp a hour (If you use 100tickets on range)... Not too bad

 

 

 

XP will be lower for lower lvl rangers..

 

 

 

Anyway... Both methods are good.. Alter/Monkeys or elves better for 70-90 rangers

Yes. This looks good, I was thinking of doing it myself earlier (I have just decided I wat 80 ranged + so now own all of the items you suggested - apart from fire cape and knives - i'm using msb and 20k iron arrows.)

 

 

 

The problem is...pest control is still much, much faster. And you get money from it. SO that's where I went.

I tried it a year ago, I still prefer using addy or rune arrows at wildy fire giants.

Its probably really good for afk training but in the end pc just owns everything

 

Not really. Just went there and tried it out, very good exp. Their range def seems to be alot lower than their melee def, and with 84 range i was able to hit them consistantly. Wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be faster exp than pc.

 

 

 

It wont be. Cuz with pc you get all the exp from the points, and you can get lots of exp just from killing the monsters.

pc is good for ranged now for hp

 

maby when your maxed hp its good but getting 10k hp exp at 70k ranged exp isnt that good but for 90+ hpers its good O:)

i was thinking about this when it came out and what about using anchients there.. although it would be expensive it is multi-combat.... so ice blitz\barrage would hit alot the gorrilas :-s

I don't think you could afk train there... Need to restore pray or your dead.

Reading these responses PC still seems better, but, how much xp an hour do you get at the apes?
