Augsback
It would be nice if they spiced up cooking a little bit. Hasnt changed at all except for a couple new recipes and the ability to cook a whole batch with one click. As for the post, I havent lost intrest it at all. I'm 99 cooking and still my favorite skill without a doubt.
Made0f12une
You can never manage to find a blasted chefs hat these days? I think today after wcing, mining and more wcing im going to break to the cooks guild. Im 110% against changing the current cooking guild. I say add it to a town much forgotte and not traveled through as much as it use to. Draynor. Cooking needs a makeover, yes, im in support. A Cooking guild makeover, no, keep the orginal, I have many fine memories there. Leave it as is. But create a whole new cooking guild. A Meat guild (building off your idea) With Differnt meat animals on hand for cooking. possiably outside falador then. Add a breads factory or such somewhere in the area of draynor. Maybe in that large space just near the wall sperarting Draynor from the port. I'll think more off this idea. So for it's very uniuqe and I like it ^^ClicK^^"I backed my car into a cop car the other dayWell he just drove off sometimes life's ok...Alright already we'll all float onAlright don't worry we'll all float on" - Isaac BrockDays Hunting:4 - Kingly Imps Caught:2Money Earned: 4.5-5m
ddaanniiellh
Did anyone realize that the f2p cooking item that gives the most xp is actually wine (200xp)? It heals 11, but lowers ur atk, so i only use it when i'm ranging or maging. and you can hire ppl to gather you grapes at cheap costs, especially since they're not very difficult to get. : 1437 : 173Lowest Combat to 1,000 Total in F2P (23 Combat)Check me out on YouTube! Gattree
Good idea with the seperating it into another skill but there going to have to make another skill page, that page is so cramped now. Also it would be cool to see this topic talked about more indepth as a tip.it times article.
Lacarnaya
Boston Cream Pies.. No damage, and outside of the wilderness. If IN the wilderness, does minor damage.... Mwuahahahaahahahahahahaa! They need the cooking guild to have a personal garden and cows... Perhaps they should force utensils to be used in order to eat fish? Lobster crackers, Knife and fork, etc? Live, love, eat! Ra
I'll give you all 1 reason it'll NEVER happen, cooking fish/meats & other foods is f2p, splitting the skill would involve giving non-members a new stat (or taking food out of f2p, still not gonna happen) My first ever guide - for advanced farmers (~50+)http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=549364Now With Pictures!! - let me know what you think
Gattree
Very good point. But if enough players wanted the split and if it was easy enough for Jagex to do they just might give f2p another skill.

Pretty much what Dragon said.Thread terminated.I guess that means I'm the thread Terminator? No Tip.Iters were harmed in the making of this post. KiHToG
I have an idea how you could bring back cooking ... In real life if you would always eat fish you would get ill because it lacks some ingredients like for example some vitamins so eating should not only be there to get some hp back, but also to refill your vitamin status etc., which is constantly falling. And if you don't do so you will perhaps lose skillpoints until you refill it. mfg

Kalkir
Yes, fish is good in that swords and lobsters can sell on free worlds so they are the premier food currency for nonj elite cooks. Sharks are famous but expensive, but tuna potaotoes are the best food in the game (heal 22 in one bite). THey are a hassle to cook, cook the potatoes, get butter, add butter, cook corn, put corn in bowl, add tuna to corn, and then add bowl to buttered potatotes. But they do heal better than sharks, have no chance of burning at final stage of prep, and do not require 80 cooking to cook them. I usually have at least 50 in the bank. Pinapple pizza store as many hit points as tuna potatoes, and are much easier to make. They however heal 2 x 11 instead of 1 x 22. Now, look at brewing and specail pies. Brewing specialty ales is a nice addition. Their effect is temporary, but they do makea difference. Also, the garden pies can be made at a fairly low level and add 3 to farm level, 2 bites each. Cooking is alive and well in my opinion. For f2p, anchovie pizza still beats swords for all purposes other than needing big heals fast.
