since the monsters got make over..

 

what about us.. players..

 

the monster is dying anyway..

 

but we player are diferent..

 

so i was wondering like.. renovate our character.. it would be awsome..

It's true that we players look 10 times worse then the monsters we kill now :(

it'll come somewhat down the line, but for now it's monsters ;) It cant all happen at once you know...

true...now its time for the monsters to look fresh :

Not really, I jsut hate how some of the armour looks. (like the chain and platemail.)

to make the players look better they have to make over every piece of weildably wear because if the base of the player changes the outer stuff has to as well (i think) we wouldn't get an update for like a month if they made us over.

I think runescape is getting better all the time, you forget it's only a short while ago we all looked like the legomen in RSC :)

I think that we look pretty like the monsters we kill now, but it would be fun anyway if Jagex decided to do a player graphic update :) .

I think it'd be nice if we got redone along with giving us more customizing options like width and height. I think armor in general would look better if it was made to look more like lunar armor in figure.

well we will just have to w8 and see now wont we :wink: we will probaly have a player graphic update before the end of 07 i bet

The players could do with new looks - I would like it if Jagex made a scrollbar-styling system like in TES4: Oblivion. Then you could always be unique :P

Yeah, it'd probably be nice to have a player model overhaul, but you have to consider what kind of undertaking that'd be; if they did that, they'd have to update all the dozens of model options (hair, clothes, faces and limbs for both genders plus beards for the guys), plus all the literally hundreds of wearable gear (armor, apparel, randoms, holidays, etc.) so it looks right. Plus, there's the little matter of the complainers; anyone remember a few months ago when Jagex decided to update the female models to look more feminine? Remember the outcry from the female players (and many of the males, too) at how horrible the new models look? Remember how it took Jagex like three tries to get it right? Do you want that to happen for every single account? I know for a damn fact I don't. Then there's the inevitable problems of matching the various apparel pieces to each other; not too long ago, Jagex had made some minor tweaks to the Barrows armor models, and the result was some armor pieces didn't match up with others, which took a few weeks for Jagex to fix. Imagine that time a hundred.

 

Yes, the player models could use a spit-and-polish, especially compared to the new monsters, but, personally, I don't think it's worth the inevitable headaches and problems that such an update would create.

personally i agree i think we shud look better then some popsicle stix but on the other hand i would rather have our bank idea as an update instead of peron makeover..

I agree! Look at our players! No face, no nose, to mouth... only eyebrows. lol

i think we do need a makeover... the monsters just had one.. i mean come on! even a falador gets a makeover! :evil:
