hi, everyone,

 

Am new to this so hope this is okay. Have been asked in game a few times how old I am, and have always had responses of "no way", "ur lyin" and "wow" etc. So have decided to ask if I am the oldest player ( I doubt it thou). I am 49 years old (female) with a soon to be 17 year old daughter. I discovered RS about 2 months ago, and am now totally addicted. So folks is there anyone out there playin thats older than me, or are you too afraid to speak up? LOL :)

No, you are not the oldest. There are many of us "elders" that are addicted..erm, enjoy Runescape. My wife and I both play. I enjoy it when the yunguns ask what my RS name means. When I tell them, the standard "NO WAY!" is very common followed with "YUCK!, my mom is that old." No matter, welcome to the forums and enjoy!

I mean people on rs really need to grow up, it's like if you don't meet the typical geeky 14 year old profile, THAT'S IT you're out of the cool crowd. You then get called a noob or someother stupid pointless annoying word that means nothing to you.

You aren't the oldest person, I have a few friends in their 40s, and a couple in their 50s, and have met people still older than this. People are shocked when I say I'm 19, so can't imagine what they must say to you!

I'm in a clan with a minimum age limit of 30. We only accept 15 new members each month and that is usually accomplished within about 10-12 hours on the first day of the month.

 

 

 

Since I've joined, my playing experience is a lot more fun for me because most of the people on my friends list now are peers and they are respectful of my time and wishes (as I am with theirs).

i love older people on rs, the only people i add are people who my friends know and are cool, people off TIF, anybody helpful in game who is nice when i meet them, but i would add anybody over 20 because i know they wouldn't be like "l00l you are funy you said willies!" and you could actually have some interesting conversations

I'm in my 40's myself, and my best friend also plays. I've meet players in their 30's before. One advantage of being an older player is that is if someone tries to call me noob or something to bother me, I just laugh it off. :)

i really dont know well 43or44 one of the two

 

but he gives me some pretty good tips i like

 

adults they give you good advis :D

i didnt realize there are so many people playing runscape that are 18+. You would think while playing in free worlds everyone was eight years old lol.

Yeah most players are really immature. Im not an adult myself (15 and turning 16 this year) but at least I behave myself and I dont call everyone a noob.
