What Are the BEST Zombie Movies/Games?

Featured Replies

I think Resident Evil 4 or Dead Rising are the best games and I think that the new Dawn of the Dead is the best movie what about you?

I love resident evil for horror/scary video games. You never know what's around the corner, and it's just terrifying.

film : Dawn Of The Dead (1978), i would have said 28 days later but technicly it isnt a zombie film.

28 Days Later is almost a zombie film!?

Man, I guess I should have finished that movie... all I remember is someone at a drug rehab clinic and a homosexual german guy....

Shaun of the Dead was great. Stubb's the Zombie for Xbox owned.

And Night of the Living Dead. Old as hell, but it was funny. At the very last part, the main guy in the film is about to be rescued by a group of 'zombie-hunters', but they mistake him for a zombie and shoot him in the head.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

All the Resident Evil games were great. ESPECIALLY the first one remade for Gamecube. Lisa Trevor and the Crimson Heads were AWESOME! I have high expectations for the next game in the series.

As for zombie movies, I've seen alot of them. Has anyone ever seen Dead Alive? BEST BAD MOVIE EVER. :P

Resident Evil 4 for GameCube is the best Zombie game as well as one of the best games ever IMO. Dead Rising is pretty fun as well but it's not great. As for movies, I don't really have a favorite.

i dont know what film youve been watching but it isnt 28 days later

Romero's NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD is of course the best zombie movie ever, together with DAWN OF THE DEAD. Both orignal of course. Not the remakes.

That depends on what you define a zombie as being. I think anything thats died and come back as a mindless flesh-eating monster is a zombie, so crab-heads from half life are zombie IMHO.

Exactly.

HL's "zombies" have "George Romero" zombie characteristics.

IE, they're dead, they don't attack each other, they feel the need to destroy the living and will swarm around you if they notice you.

Well I know HL is a sci-fi alien invasion story, but I was focusing on the fact that one of the main enemies include dead people walking around.

Theres many types of zombies out there...

Your generic, back from the grave zombies. (Dawn of the dead)

Your unholy zombies. (Diablo)

Your "summoned by an evil guy" zombies. (Warcraft etc)

Your "I was infected by a virus/bacteria/unknown disease" zombie. (Resident evil,28 days later, shawn of the dead)

Your "Its all in my head, but it looks and feels real" zombies. (silent hill)

Your "I was made by a mad scientist" zombies... (Hey, Frankenstien's monster is technically a zombie)

Your "I was infected by aliens" Zombies (Halo, HL, Doom)

If zombies are all similar, then the world just god a hellavalot boring... -.-
