I agree if you guys don't want to get pked, make nats (since this is all abyss is really used for) some other way. But what you say it takes to long and you lose profit by being slower. Now I've never gone rc pking so don't try stuff like he is just saying that cuz he is one of them.

On my membs account, i've crafted about 9k nats, and lost 5 glories (mostly due to my lack of skill). That's a loss of 450k, and I personally dislike RC pkers. I laughed my head off one time when I managed to drop my glory before the kill, although when I teleported back I saw the guy who had pked me swearing at another guy for picking up "his" glory :lol: . I also remember the time when I was at 37 hp from lagging in the abyss and forgetting to eat at bank. I realized it about halfway to the mage, but decided I had enough hp for a round or two more without risk. Suddenly, i'm encased in a chunk of ice, hitting a 30 on me. A level 89 runs up to me wielding a dd++, and specs me for a 2-1. At that second, I tele to edgville (finally) and head straight for my bank. The problem is, my bank is cluttered, and it took me nearly 7 seconds just to find some food Talk about stressful... I withdrew the food and ate it about 1/8th a second before poison hits a 6 on me - wow was I greatfull that day :D And I bet there was one disappointed ancients pker. Also taught me never to let hp below 50 :)

Rc PKing is for people who are to scared to get attacked.

 

 

 

And IF you kill someone, maybe the best thing you can get is some pure essence.

 

 

 

Earning money from picking bananas would be better cash AND would be more fun then RC Pking.

 

 

 

Let me just point out a few things - RC PKing is not necessarily for people who are scared to be attacked. Although many will run out of the wilderness when attacked, remember that there are other pkers. Anyone standing out in the wilderness for an extended period of time is probably not scared of being attacked. Secondly, RC Pkers are not going after the pure essence. Anyone using the abyss uses a glory to tele back to edgville after crafting their essence. Third - Picking bananas is nowhere close to RC Pking. Although I do not believe RC Pking is ethical, it can be fairly profitable. PKing one rune crafter is a 60k glory amylet, which is as good as picking 15000 bananas and filling the crate 2000 times. A rc pker can kill two or three pkers his level, then switch to another world and repeat, earning about 300 times as much money as he could make picking bananas. Although as a Abyss Runecrafter I hate pkers, I think it has its advantages and sometimes provides a good income for PKers. It is not that hard to avoid being pked, either by using the skelys, wearing full black d hide, going around the back way, using a one click teleport, or all of the above.

As per the topic, I hate dealing with RC PKers. It's the lowest form of PKing, and it's a waste of teles on my part. Abyss RCing would be so much easier if noobs wouldn't try to grab a quick glory.

Its easy enough to pk and keep ur stuff. Just were dhide+glory. Now your three piecing with nothin to worry about. If you use protect prayer, then you can turn the tides on the pker. They always seem so suprised when they get hit with 4 fire waves in a row and get. "Oh dear, you died" HAHAHA so funny :P. Got a nice set of rune armor from that :P.

Boy, I've been runecraftin nats for a long tyme now and I think I know a teleblocker when I see one, in fact I've even written a very detailed guide on dodging abyssal pkers. Out of all the thousands upon thousands of nats I crafted via the abyss, I have only come across one teleblocker who snared first then attempted to teleblock but failed.

To all the people who are against abyss Pking: Why did Jagex put it in the Wildy then? It's a matter of risk vs. reward. You're taking the risk of going through the wildy to runecraft so you can do it faster. What if they just took the Abyss out of the wildy so it was easier/less risky? What if they made every altar right next to a bank? The game would be much too easy. I see no problem with abyss Pking.
