September 26, 200619 yr Author My "Facts" came directly from Jagex, they said that I needed a BASE level of 85 slayer to get the drop, and seeing as I had killed several thousand demons without one then I assumed they were right. Obviously not. Jagex hardly owned themselves. You discovered the gap in knowledge between customer support responses and the people who actually code and create the game. Either way congrats on the head. Where did I say Jagex owned themselves? I didn't. I asked Jagex if I could get an abyssal head without 85 slayer, they said no. And as far as I'm aware I was the first person with under 85 slayer to get a head and to make sure that people knew that you can get one without 85 slayer I made this topic...
September 26, 200619 yr No you lose head when you un mount. Dont lie to people if you dont know what your talkign about. Otherwise you noobs would level slayer buy mounting and un mounting it. I suggested to jagex that we would be able to move a mounted head to another room and get 0 xp. I lost my basilisk head when I replaced it with my kbd head. So you sir are a liar and need to stop passing bad info to the community. People do make mistakes. I highly doubt the intent was to misinform and calling someone a liar for it is a bit overkill. It makes you look like an incredibly rude jerk who slanders people to the community with little reason. But then again, maybe that's just an overly strong comment like you calling him a liar was. -.- Don't defend misinformation. Lying to the community wastes others time. Being a smart aleck makes you look ignorant. Don't let your tip it mod with a low combat level go to your head. Based off of your posts I'm not impressed. September 26, 200619 yr axe man jack, your right AND wrong. Yes, you've got a point, he didn't tell the truth, but that doesn't mean that he is DELIBERATELY lieing, and I found your comments rude, and quite offensive. Congrats on the head by the way.... 8-) Returned 10/03/2010 after a two year break.

Dude everyone makes mistakes, that's why they put erasers on the top of pencils. Also just because you have a higher post count doesn't make you better. by your way of speaking I am better than you because of my post count. Chill man. Gratz on head Dark. The part about them owning themselves was partly in reference to another post I had read in the topic. Mentioning it after the quote did make it seem a bit out of context, didn't mean to misconstrue that bit. And yes you did get a reply stating it couldn't be done. My point was that you can't expect 100% perfection with a customer support answer. If it had been placed in the KB it would have been a bit more grievous of an error. I like learning info that's not normally common knowledge so I wasn't commenting on the topic's relevance. Again congrats on it. Don't defend misinformation. Being wrong is no more a crime than coming across as rude is. Don't act as though there was malice on his part. Using that one phrase for everything that isn't true is inaccurate. Misinforming people so they click on a keylogger is a bit different than posting something that they thought to be true. I'm sorry my posts don't meet your high standard of terse answers and unwarranted comments. I'm sure it was the modicum of respect in general to users no matter their prominence on TipIt that put you off. My being a mod and my combat level had no relevance to what I said at all. Axe Man Jack was right, don't defend people who post horribly inaccurate information. It's their responsibility to apologize for it, not a moderator who thinks hes a big-shot. Had this not been pointed out people would have lost some heads, no doubt.
September 26, 200619 yr Wow according to some people on this everyone must be perfect. Also we are allowed to speak how we like wheter or not we use slang, big words, fancy words and so on. Just chill would you. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198

Letting people post wrong things without consequence has made tip it less reliable for information and I must say I have to go elsewhere for my information now. I'm more than polite to tipiters I see in game and elsewhere and for you to stand on your soapbox and point out how much better you think you act compared to me based off one comment proves only that you are an emo and you want attention. I don't care to hear it. :boohoo: i mean its true about the reliable info, i no longer goto tip.it for accurate info on items thats why we have a knowledge base + tip.it is occasionally wrong dag kings have been out for maybe a year and they recently(because of me) changed which 1's where which supreme and prime pics were switched arounnd... cmon, a year to fix it and i have to point it out? any way, dark dude yeah, im sure they probably meant you needed to have the level to hurt them, good job tho. i assumed it was like all their drops you had to be the lvl to get it, like when i pied to 80+ slayer to get rune boots... why dont they make a dark beast head? that would be more impressive, honestly. 90 slayer is alot of exp...and those things are kind of hard to kill from what i hear.
September 26, 200619 yr Author Nope, the way the mod said it he clearly meant that you needed a BASE level of 85 to get it and not the boosted level. The mod did seem very confident of what he was saying. The point of this topic was to not say that Jagex were wrong, everyone makes mistakes. But it was here to inform people that you do not need 85 slayer to get the Abyssal demon head (Which wouldn't be hard to program in...)
September 26, 200619 yr Grats on the head :P I found pieing too tedious so I just got 85, and I got a head within a few weeks of camping there.
