Furryturtle1
well I am 13 and never seen a personal IQ score. SOme teacher told me once that they have it and we are not supposed to know until we graduate high school. I do not exactly think of myself as a genius, but i do get calledthe smartest kid in our school(not true, it's just a rumour due to the fact that I won multiple awards from the state of ohio at the end of school ceremony last year) I have taken the act and sat and ranked in at least the 70th percentile on all the tests(highest in science, 92nd percentile). I got offered a scholarship to a boarding school in pourtsmith rhode island and one in virginia. Too bad one is an episcopal and one is a catholic school because im jewish. Now with all this, im guessing my IQ to be somewhere around 115 or 120 (8th grade) (\,,/)(0.o)(><) always making new friends, pm me! rsn: furryturtle1
speedofsound
157,I was pretty happy with myself :-w You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." katsuro0
how come you had to take an iq test to get put into AP classes? i took three this year, and the only thing needed was a Prerequisite (A in freshman bio and chemistry for AP bio...B+ in western civilizations for US history AP..and B+ in english classes for english 3 AP) I also highly doubt you can "hit the ceiling" on an IQ test. there is no ceiling =\ you're just bull s-ing everyone. Iantiger
I agree that internet tests should not be trusted, or at least it's very hard to find a reliable one. I'll try and find the link to the one that I took which seemed pretty fair to me. As far as offline tests go, if you go down to your local library and enquire - they often have specialist books (well, at least mine did anyway), which contain a number of IQ tests. Or be adventurous if you live in the UK and try the Test The Nation quiz on the BBC which they air annually - a suprisingly accurate test when you view the collated results at the end of the show. They show regional statistics across the country showing which regions have the best and worst average IQ results. It is easy to lie about your IQ, although it doesn't really serve any purpose to do so as you're only fooling yourself. Additionally, we are internet users guys - I suppose that has something to do with all these above average IQ results. If the teenagers that spend all their evenings hanging out around the shops smoking joints were to be tested, it would be quite the opposite I imagine - an IQ OVER 100 would be a rare sight. Remember IQ does factor in your age as Runesmithie said, because you have an optimum age at which you've learned as much as you can, and after that, becoming old means your brain starts to become slower and forgets a lot of things. ~Ian Retired Tip It Moderator | Zybez Radio DJ - Listen Here

Well there is a ceiling to a sense. Usually IQ tests measure up to a certain amount. Then from thereon you usually take specific tests. But I doubt you have a score similiar to the intelligence of someone over 50(assuming no memory problems etc.) You know formula for IQ I suppose so you know what I'm talking about. frogmite
These topics are so pointless, just a way to make yourself feel good. "oo look at me i have an iq higher than you" anyway it doesnt make that much of a difference, it goes off logic/recognition 100 (or 1.0) being average.
