Pay to play, Full Version or Expansion?

Featured Replies

There's the question? In your opinion, do you think that the Pay to Play version of the game is the Expansion, or the full version? Please give reasons to support your idea.

I'd like to think of it as an expansion, it's kind of similar to Diablo II, but Diablo II could also be wrong. I don't mind being Free to Play again, it doesn't bother me seeing as how I got keylogged, and basically gave up on the game.

So please, disscuss?

Expansion: [18]

Full Version: [33]

The optimal.

I think of it as an expanison, as your skills and everything carry over.

Tough question.

In some ways it's an expansion. I.E. Sharks, Magic Logs, Magic Bows, Rune Arrow, ect.

But it's also the full version. Farming, Capentry, Slayer dot dot dot

Nyaaaaaa I'll just say it's the full version.

We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

Ok, I need to go to sleep now, but i'll make votes up, so it's easier to keep track.

The optimal.

full version because p2p has too many new things to be considered just an expansion

According to Jagex, F2P is the full game and P2P is the expansion. Granted that the expansion is 10 times larger, but meh.

Full version!

(Quit: tallest please come to the death altar, give me 1,337,000,000 gp, a golden tinderbox, and a spade, also steal one of zidanes phats and give it to me.

It's an expansion as all you do is add on some cool features but keep all the old ones aswell.

I'd say full version, as P2P seems much too large compared to F2P to be an expansion. I think of F2P as a free trail, and P2P as the main game.

Full version, even if jagex defines it as a expansion I can't possibly agree with that. P2p is so much larger and has thousands of additional features. An expansion doesn't add 10+ times the content (at least thats how I see it)

full version

I'd also have to say its the full version...

but i can see why people would think of it as an expansion... back when the p2p map wasn't sooo many times larger.

Expansion.

Full Version, have no idea why people stay 'pure f2p' when they can afford members.

full version. The p2p features are way too many to be considered expansion, or rather p2p does not fit these 2 options

Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.

It is more like a different game altogether................

The players are different, they act different and they look different!

Definitely full version. What with all the teasing "You must be a member to open these gates / use this item" blah blah. And yes, no expansion I know contains several times the content of the original.
