kamil killed me and idk wat to do, i think i brought too many potions cuz i ran outta food and had like 10 super restores left and only brought like 5 sharks (didnt know he would be so hard) died an dlost a few k fires and some deaths and like 10 super restores, kinda mad and i dunno wat to do, any suggestions?

What guide are you using? Most guides will tell you to protect from mage, but that way sucks hard. You have to protect melee and wear the best dhide you can wear (while meleeing him). He's fairly easy that way.

 

(We're talking about the guy on the snowy mountain right?)

I did pro melee, with a large mage defence using black top and bottom, and using magic boosters had a +21 magic bonus. Destroyed with firewave, and i believe it'd be alright with fireblast too. Dont forget eat and restore pray while frozen.

Even fire bolt works well, Kamil actually doesn't have a lot of hp, he just freezes you alot :roll: .

Yeah, just bring a balanced amount of Sharks and Super Restores, and you can even Fire Bolt him just fine if you're worried about the cost of the runes or something. Prot. Melee r teh must. (sorry I'm basically saying what everyone else has said... :| )

Don't melee Kamil. Use fire spells.

 

Nearly all DT bosses have a weakness to some spell.

 

 

 

Kamil is weak to fire.

 

Damis is weak to earth.

 

Fareed is weak to water.

 

Not sure about Dessous, I ranged him :P

I killed him easily, here's my advice.

 

 

 

Do family crest and get chaos gauntlets.

 

 

 

Then, wear full mystic and fire BOLT him. You hit 1 lower, but don't need to restore your stats as often.

 

 

 

My recommended inventory:

 

200 Air runes

 

100 Chaos runes

 

4 super stat restores - this should be plenty

 

1 click teleport - ectophial, teletablet

 

20 sharks

 

2 law runes - for going to trollheim after freeing the parents

 

 

 

Equipped:

 

Full mystic

 

Fire staff

 

Mage ammy

 

Chaos gauntlets

 

God cape

 

Ring of life

 

Zammy book

 

 

 

If you don't have a zammy book or god cape, no problem. You can still do fine without them. Be sure to set autocast fire bolt BEFORE reaching him.

 

 

 

Once you get to him turn on protect from MELEE. Eat when you need to, use super restores to keep mage level up and prayer on, and keep fire bolting him. He'll go down pretty easily. If you do happen to not be able to kill him, don't panic. Use the 1-click tele.

 

 

 

Also, if you can't get mystic (or better), use ghostly. However, I HIGHLY reccomend that you use mystic.

No offense but using grammar makes you're setences easier to read. To be on topic. Just read a lot of guides and use fire blast, and eat and pot when you're frozen.

Don't you have to finish desert treasure to get ghostly?

No...but its ridiculous to suggest that =p. you get the ring of visibility during the quest...So thats sort of silly. Who stops midquest to get the robes?

 

 

 

Then again...Its not so bad an idea...mmm...but no becauuse it doesnt provide the needed melee protection.

i know i should snare him then run to save prayer and bring some food but i don't know what to protect from.

I finished the quest at 82 combat with 200 chaos runes 8-) . 4 restore are fine, fill the rest with sharks. Protect from melee with your best dhides and fire bolt away.

yes kamil kicked my but the first time what i did is bring 2 restores and 4 prayer pots, a cannon and 300 cballs, and the rest runes and sharks

i just used monks robes and used protect from mage, i just used whip when he got close to me and he went down really quick.
