ishepp
What I still don't understand is the "I'm a zammy spy" thing, when you are on sara team, or vice versa. You see them in the tunnels waiting to collapse them on their own teammates, generally low lvl characters, and mostly pretty rubbish at it too. So their team wins and they say yay zammy won. But they were on sara team...no tix for them, and mostly a pointless game trying to tell the other team not to kill them. If they really wanted zammy to win, they should play on zammy team and collapse tunnels on the real enemy, none of their own team would kill them, and if they win they get tickets for it. Stupid isn't it. But they think its really clever... 89/99 farming
dutchdreams
EDIT: Alright, people are really mistaking this. Here's a good example of what i'm talking about from muggi. Looong ago when splitbark was first released, I saw some person talking to himself wearing guthix, full splitbark, etc. Someone asked him where he got the armor. Instead of saying "Oh, I bought it," or "Oh, I worked in the shade tombs for it," he was way too over-dramatic saying things like "and I became one with nature, devoting my spirit, my soul, and myself to Guthix and nature..." blah blah blah its the over-dramatic things like that is what i'm trying to get at. not at like zamorak empower me type things. I guess my example at top is not very good then. Please read this one before posting now. Since when is coming up with an eloquent, creative, living up to the role-playing element of the game (see mentioned example), original answer, that shows out-of-the-box-thinking, considered noobish (see thread title) ? People can play the game as they see fit. As for myself I would rather much more play the game with an over-dramatic as you put it than with someone who can't think of something more original then: '125 fish/wc/str/def/hp/pray/range/mage/mining/smithing lvl', which seems to be the standard way nowadays. highlanders
They don't take seriously what they say. They're just fooling around, trying to get attention or just have some fun. 2480+ total
SAGE
It's a roleplay game, anywho they aren't crying about you not taking a role so why are you crying about their satisfaction they get out of adding that little something in their gameplay? Rename the topic to 'When I feel too "cool"', please?

bacab
I have both a Holy Book and an Unholy Book, so sometimes what I'll do in a crowded bank is I'll preach with one then I'll preach with the other to see how flamed I'll get. I really don't have any religious affiliatons in real life so I don't much understand the religious "bonds" people can form in a game. But just because I don't understand something doesn't mean it's wrong. Kudos to the zealots. I don't much partake in RPG's. I'm only involved in runescape and I've been in three separate D&D campaigns -> once I was a human monk, another time a half dragon paladin, and another time I was a halfling rouge. Eh, passes the time I guess. We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.

Lennontastic
I agree. There should be no false idols in Runescape! :-w
scruffman
since i was on the front of this post, i feel obligated to both brag about it, and add something. i really do not like the trimmed/guilded/whatever armour in runescape. its treasure armour, and rare, but really, why would you buy it? its not discontinued, it has same stats as regular armour only looks different. so, we've established theres no economical reason to own it, or combatative reason. so, people must buy it for showing off the god they support, or showing that they are just so rich that they can throw away money. Jard_Y_Dooku
This is why it's an RPG. I am Jard Y Dooku. He is not my character but we are one in the same. :) PS - Muggiwhplar owns. Never trust anyone. You are always alone, and betrayal is inevitable.Nothing is safe from the jaws of the decompiler.
