I believe 3 Hit U did a count of Party Hats, and maybe other rares. I'm also pretty sure he concluded that one or two losses from dying or alching, and even accounts being banned with a set or two (phat) won't affect the price by much because there are still so many. Anyway, what advice do you expect to get here really? Just do exactly the same as you would have done with it, work on skills, kill things etc. A santa hat isn't particularly crucial to gameplay, just get over it and carry on.
