Goonstalf
I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem, but I'm lvl 75 and I have never gotten a Mime, Forester or Scaperune event. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining and whining that I haven't gotten these, I'm just saying that it's strange how I have seen levels or below 30 with full mime or parading their new lederhosen down varrok, yet me and others I have talked to have never had any. Just thought I'd put that out there for discussion. ~Goonstalf I'm going to milk Goon's teats
ghostman
For me, I think it may depend on the skill you are working on, and the amount of time you've been doing an action. I have yet to acquire any full set other than about 5 of frogs. I have gotten nearly every random once, or more, but it's over a year and a half of playing. Currently P2P. I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. Formerly known as: Ghstkill8, Serene Ghst, Genius Goats
digitalstick
Random events are RANDOM, thats why some people get them. Even if you see 1 guy under level 30 with full something, there are hundreds more with nothing. However, if you really want randoms, do something for 20 minutes straight and then high-alch. If you got no random during that 20 minutes, you should get one. except if you keep changing things you're doing or trading.
St_Anger
Well, considering your skills...you have to do more to get thoes type of random events

icecube
Usually when you do one task over and over again, such as chopping a tree or high alching, you will have more chances of random events. Try doing something like that non-stop, you'll most likely get some sort of random event. :XD:
NJE03
Personally I think is merely luck, i have all random outfit (beside zombie), in the past though I had none and always wanted. ilya
ok i've been playing rs for 2 years and i've never gotten mime! i've gotten like 1000 all of the other events, and like 50 frogs but no mime, wtf?

Skatetumyeto
I have gotten like 5 frogs and I got really lucky and I got a lenderhosen(sp?) hat and a zombie mask. I would rather have mime though.
subzerodragon
I find those types of randoms more harder to get. The only time I've gotten mime was when I was nearly playing all day. Eyrelex
Just cause they aren't common doesn't mean they aren't as random. Believe it or not but I got full mime, lederhosen and camo all from training at moss giants and all within a few months. Check out my Pocket Slot idea! primadog
random events have certain triggers applied to them. From what I heard/experienced, the more 'bot-like' your behavior is - repeat action route, afk-like behavior, stand still for hours, stay in same area for long time, etc. - the more likely you will get randoms. Good luck, It took me to lvl 80s before I got my first mime, so no worries. All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it
saam007
mime/camo/lederhosen aren't common compare to other randoms. I got all random cloths and emotes and those aren't common at all. Mime I got maybe 3-4 times after I got full set & all emotes. (don't forget it is much older then the other and I play for over 2 years now) Camo only 1 time after got full set and lederhosen got the last part (hat) in last month. zombie - I got him pretty often when i bury bones. other random I got alot of them, for example I got 72 frog tokkens in bank and I even drop the tokken from time to time (for example when train at abby demons or any other monster that I need space for drops). Acting botlike, failing randoms and bring reported for macroing triggers randoms. Don't be afraid your life will end, be afraid it will never begin. Marco
It's true, being monotonous in a skill gives lots of random events. I've been Telekineticl grabbing Zamorak Wines and Teleporting to Faldor, for the last 6 Teleports I've got the 'Failure in Teleportation Matrix' event. :-s

blacknite310
I got a lot of my random events when i was rcing, alching, or woodcutting. But after almost 2 years of playing I've only gotten 1 mime, and lost the boots when i lagged and a watchman came up.

darkpoet837
A real easy way to get randoms is to go to any shop that can sell uncut gems (including general stores) and buy as many as posable. The longer you stay in a shop, the better this works. After buying many gems, x out of the shop and cut just one of them. Chances are, that if you have been in the shop long enough, you should get a random. I did this and got full lendorson, camo, and almost full mime. Anouther thing is that some randoms are only triggered by training a certon skill. An example of this is training prayer. When you burry bones, there is a small chance you will get one of the following randoms: Shade; Zombie; or The gravedigger dude. Gem cutting is a good way to get many randoms, as it is a common trigger skill. whocares
Random events are NOT RANDOM. They do depend on where you are and what you are doing. Don't start witht he whole arguement that just because they are called random events that they are totally random. That's why I never get a random even in some places like the duel arena and get it in other places.
