Well you was selling your wealth made in game by being one of the best merchanters for real life cash and got banned for it, but your right the community is down the toilet. Give a man a chance to steal and cheat his way to success and he will do it within a blink of a eye.... well most people who are playing this game would anyways. Its rest of us who wouldn't do such a thing who suffer.

Sad to see you go, I'm actually slowly quitting myself... getting those last two Mage levels and doing some Castle Wars and killing some DK's, but other than that I'm pretty much done :? .

 

 

 

All I know about you is youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re a respected tip it user and have 92/94 mage :P I myself have 90 mage and I intend on using it to pk with various styles, like with hybrid with melee or range. Will be useful when IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m pking at mage bank. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m not sure if you like pking but you should also look into staking. You currently have 92 mage and is very good for mage staking (using blood barrage) You have the stats so IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m sure you could do quite well at staking. But when you have 94 mage it should be good that you have finished your goal. Enjoy the reward of 94 mage by having fun with ice barrage, using in whatever way you want. I am sure after the giddiness of your reaching the achievement you have been working so hard for you will feel down that you have nothing much else to do in rs. Well it is just about finding something else to do in it. Find some new goals to work towards, try some new things youÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve never done before and check out the new updates when they come out. DonÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t hang around rs addicted playing the same hours but not doing much though, find out what you want to do after you get 94 mage and do it. Play in your free time and donÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t neglect whatever else you have to do in real life and your time on rs will be more enjoyable.

Meh, I'm not the Pker or Staker type- That 94 Mage is going solely into Castle Wars :thumbsup: (along with ALL of my funds- other than a new Fury and a replacement Spear [got bs'd at DK's] all of my cash will be going into Barrage Runes). There are few things better in this game then watching a group lvl 70s scream and beg for mercy as you Cube them all at once, no?

I like using ice against melee PKers. I like it even better when the person does not beg for mercy because he is respecting (in a gaming way) that I am better than he is, and if he does lose, he loses to a better gamer. I myself am 82/94 mage, but not for long! Soon I will far surpass blitz and become a barrager. This is pretty much a goal just for the sake of accomplishing a major goal. After I'm done training, and did a few games at CWS or PKed some with Ice Barrage, I'll probably revert back to melee. LOL :lol:

Lol, trust me, at 2.5k per Barrage, spending well over 100k a game on average, you may revert back to Melee pretty fast :lol: . At least in Pk'ing you can make the money back; with Castle Wars it all just goes down the drain :ohnoes: . Btw, when you hit the 90s, leveling is annoying as heck- every level is almost the equivalent of from 1 to 70 up to Barrage :lol: . Past that it's even worse :shock: .

I think I am going to quit now as I simply play Runescape too much. I guess I'm addicted to it, damned its such a addicting game and I spend too much time playing it and not getting things done like searching for a full time job as I have 18 hours a week work atm and need more. I need to do alot of things as I let them slide when playing rs and I need a couple of months break away from the game. Maybe I will go on to pk to enjoy a bit of the game, but I dont want it taking too much of my time. I will leave this game alone until I think I will play it responsibily. This game has caught up with me, its too damned addicting and I need some time away from the game to sort out my priorites. Maybe I'll come back but only if I can play it in my free time and I dont play it too addictively. I guess I will tell friends in game now, but I'v had alot of friends quit because they got bored with the game, but it will surprise most of my friends that I gotta get away from the game cause I am too addicted. Happens to the best of us and I have become addicted because of problems in real life which I dont want to go into and are beside the point. I will slowly cut myself off from the game and enjoy more out of real life. Well you can count me on the quit list too because there is more to life than a game.

Yea, I will leave the quiting posts to within this thread, I am not well know on these forums so not point making a song and dance about it.

 

 

 

I might have a drop party for friends, drop the stuff I dont want and give to people who I valued their friendship. It is a sad thing I have to leave RS because I made such great friends on it and I have to at least say goodbye to them. Maybe I will have a event with my friends after the drop party to have some fun before I go, that would be good.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I lost 23m+ to a friend not too long ago as well. I lent him it and he took it and blocked me. I am more gutted to lose a friend over rs gp tbh. I can never regard this guy who I knew for 2 years on rs in a good friendship. He will however leave a bitter taste in my mouth over him deciding some rs gp is worth more to him than our friendship. Now that leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

 

 

 

It took away alot of the joy of rs. I had now been majorly duped by a "friend" and I previously prided myself on being smart, knowing how to trust people and not doing stupid things in the game. Towards the end - within the last few months, I have been scammed too, I scam which I missed something and he took all my sharks without paying for them - that was 3m worth. I got over it but I woulda liked to say I didn't let the scammers get to me, but they did, and this "friend" [bleep]ed me over like a man raping a woman. It hurt that he did it to me.

 

 

 

I guess these has left their toll and it has been a big struggle and I'v been more resolute in the game to get back on my feet and become evan more addicted. I am glad I am getting out of it because its doing my head in. I think I would feel better if I left the game with a party for my friends, give them stuff and have a chance to say goodbye. I need to get out of the game.

Brilliant methodology, and good for you for quitting to get out of the addicted phase- I havn't even quit yet in the bored phase :lol: . Also, you get the point across that you're quitting, add a small explanation or two if anyone was wondering why you're quitting, and for once finally (you're probably the first one) you didn't make a whole new thread about it, unlike everyone making them just to get a quick 15 seconds of fame.

Lol, that's pretty bad >_<. I got an online bud who got his account hacked and stolen, by none other than his friends of 6 years. Pretty sad, eh?

Hate to say it, and I know I'm missing the moral of the story, but always check the final trade screen, especially for a big purchase.

 

 

 

I didn't know you, so I can't say I hate to see you go. It's always bad, though, when the RS coomunity loses another honest, upstanding citizen. You will be missed, I assure you.

Kashi it wasn't a trade, I trusted him and he made me thing he [bleep]ed me over and took money over our friendship. A friend who I met in college went through a similar time. He was however scamming and hacking after he got hacked himself and thought screw it, if you cant beat them join them. He shouldn't have but the game got to him and it eventually caught up as he was addicted and he needed to quit. He lent me 17m he had on his account (I always told him he should of bought a blue phat before he left: P ) and lent me it. I had secured a Santa after losing his money he lent and worked up to a Santa. It turns out he couldn't do the work, couldn't buy the gp and just hid. Wish he was just honest about it. I am glad we sorted it out and we an just be friends again. I will post on my pures blog some memorable pics I have saved and add a post in graveyard of pks I have saved. Will round things off well. For every good normal player in the RS community, there are 50 pathetic loser 10 year olds. A very sad fact about the game, i quit a little while ago aswell, its just pathetic thesedays.
