TeeBeaun Posted October 11, 2006 Share Posted October 11, 2006 I made a map of RS for my GIS class project, took me 20 hours to complete, used the Jagex mag (shhh i didnt ask) then maped out all the important things like banks trasnportation, quest start locations, almost everything that is on the tip.it map and more. So you could then query the file and say what is the closest lobster fishing area to a bank. It was very cool, took a very long time, but you would need ArcMap to be able to read it. I also proposed a bank in limbridge, right before they put in the culimancers chest, and my bank was just north of the castle, so it was cool to see that they put one in close to where i suggested in my class. I had hoped they'd make an interactive map with the satellite view in addition to the regular map. Not useful mind you, just cool. Sometimes cool is good. Slightly off topic, but don't you like the satellite maps of the dungeons that show the EXACT respawn locations of all the monsters?
