October 19, 200619 yr is it harder to get d chain or fire cape, the chain took me 21 days to get from merchanting strait, i was asking if the fire cape is much harder. im attempting to get the cape without interfering with my homework and study times

Unless you count the position where Jad spawns as luck, there's nothing about getting the fire cape that require luck. Anyway, cape is more impressive in my opinion. Well, there is always the freak connection loss that can happen (which I've noticed always seem to happen at, or just before Jad :-k :^o :wink: ) Personally i'm for the cape. October 19, 200619 yr fire cape also takes skill levels, which merchanting doesn't. you have to put that into account
October 19, 200619 yr Merchanting DOES take skill in my opinion.You have to know whats the best price to buy/sell for.Instead of buying at underpriced and selling for overpriced which just wastes your time. You also need to be good at bargaining and so O:) O:)
October 19, 200619 yr I think that fire cape is the most impressive to have of those 2, u see way more ppl that got d chain then a fire cape, but if u got enough supplies, the right lvls and enough time u will probly get a cape on less then 21 days.

How many people would know they could trade it for full dragon? Might not take a lot of skill, but it does take some and some thorough knowledge of prices.
October 19, 200619 yr Fire Cape all the way!!! I've owned a d-chain and had to sell because of the way the price was dropping. You can get d-chain and it doesn't take skill. A lvl-3 can merchant and get a d-chain (can't wear but still buy it). Fire cape takes actual skill and is a lot harder to get. - Affliction - 100 Combat - 9/15/06Merchant / Skiller

You guys make it sound really easy to merchant and get a d-chain from doing it, but how much time does it really take? Though Fire Cape may be more impressive, I can honestly say that merchanting for a d-chain is not easy..

November 14, 200619 yr Chain costs 15mil, if i'm not mistaken, and the fire cape costs around 10mil in supplies (fury, ranger boots, archer ring, crystal bows, potions) and needs lots of skill and time compared to the dragon chain. Lamest attempt at a lure ever.No, Ive seen "selling easter egg 5m must be level 78 77 or 76 and meet at varrock bar unarmed.
