99 capes

And if you happened to have a lowered stat, if you continued to operate the cape, theoretically you should be able to continuously operate it until you are back to lv99.

I was thinking about that for prayer. That would be very useful.

Prayer and hp cape can only be used once every minute

I know a use for the hp cape!

go to cw, and stand in the rock pile things. They only do 99 damage max so you would be left with 1 hp

wrong ppl have been 1 hitted with 105 hit points or around there using sara brew and taht altar in the desert i think

I don't get it why people complain that certain capes are useless. In my eyes, their main function is to show off that you've actually achieved something. They are status symbols just like party hats, except for these you need skills instead of pure cash.

As Jagex stated themselves, the achievement capes are ONLY for look. They are not ,meant to be the ultimate weapon(as in to give incredible bonuses).

Jagex put in these capes so people can show off their skills once they reach 99 and to be able to show you done all quests (which before this was unprovable)

OFFTOPIC: Must... bump thread to bury my embarrassingly stupid one...

ONTOPIC: Each cape comes with an emote you can use. The kbase says the capes are p2p only, but I saw someone doing the str emote in a f2p world. Am I missing something?

100 ATK: Better chance to hit

100 STG: Increased Max Hit

100 DEF: Better chance of a 0

100 HP: 1 extra hp of survival Can you add an extra a minute?

100 Range: Better chance of hit maybe higher hit

100 Prayer: 1 extra prayer point for use Can you get an extra per minute?

100 Magic: Better chance to hit

100 Cooking: Less burnt sharks Sharks can actually be perfect w/ gloves at 95, but you'll burn less of even higher things

100 Woodcutting: Faster logs

100 Fletching: USELESS

100 Fishing: Faster sharks and others

100 Firemaking: Fires last longer?

100 Crafting: USELESS

100 Smithing: USELESS

100 Mining: Faster Rune ores and others

100 Herblore: USELESS

100 Agility: Slightly faster run recovery slightly less chance to fail traps/obstacles?

100 Theiving: Less capture rate less failure on locks

100 Slayer: USELESS

100 Farming: Less chance of plant death?

100 Runecrafting: Maybe a double or extra rc-ing rune?

100 Construction: USELESS

As you can see, 6 of the capes have useless uses for a lv100. All the others provide for a higher chance of something happening.

And if you happened to have a lowered stat, if you continued to operate the cape once per minute?, theoretically you should be able to continuously operate it until you are back to lv99. With hp and prayer you can regenerate 1 more per minute, that would be useful with prayer!

All right, all my changes are in bold, did I do anything wrong? Plus the runecrafting cape got me thinking - if you drank an evil stew and got like +5 what all would you be able to get double/or more runes out of? :-k

Combat 116+; Total 1900+; All Hard Tasks; (Nearly) All quest points; (Nearly) All skills 60+; An aquatic moose ninja.

Currently: Using 63 hunter to get some of those "Chins", then I'm going to range stuff down. Interruptions of agility when I feel like it, as well.

And lucky enough to get 4 Dragon and 6 Barrow Drops.

[hide]Kwimbob now looks exactly like me in real life except for hair color. Yes, this means I look exactly like the protagonist of that certain anime that my second character, Faye_V is also named after. Yes, I bought a jacket that also looks like his. No in real life I don't have a slain bear to sling over my shoulders. Yes, I'm that skinny even if I no-life it for years in basements. No, I can't shoot a gun. Yes, I can win any other strategic video game you have never played - because I probably have, ahahaha. And yes, I also have brown eyes, yet one of my eyes looks different from the other. And yes, I'm completely oblivious to the [real] world around me as I constantly engineer new solutions to daily problems in my head. When I get hungry, all that isn't food can wait. When I'm sleepy - nothing is of any priority in front of sleep. But at any other time, I never slow down. Never give up. Never Surrender. Makes for a good life.

Runecrafting at level 100 could be extremely usefull. It might let you get the muiltply bouns in something.
mybe if it would work with some sort of runecrafting wine, then maybe youcould get yourself high enought to get bonuses for some runes, maybe double laws?

Also, maybe some new combination runes that you can make at lvl 100+, for example, the combination of chaos and deaths? or soul and laws for quick teleothers.

I was thinking that this now opens up the possibility of Jagex releasing a quest that requires level 100 in something to complete. It could be flexible such that level 100 in any one of a plethora of skills can complete it, and the reward could be calibrated to the skill you used.

One possible scenario is that you need to acquire a certain non-tradable log by chopping a tree that requires level 100 wc to chop. Alternatively, if you can't do that, you can mine an ore that only level 100 miners can mine.

Rewards could differ based on which scenario you carried out :)

Well think about it, yea 9 of the capes have useless uses, but if JaGeX didnt release capes for every skill, wouldnt people be a little bit mad that there 99 skill, that they worked so hard for, didnt get a cape, thats why there's useless capes

we were given this privledge to get easy exp, everything has a cost.
