With the new Home Port teleport you can use every 30 minutes, the cost of charging a Lumbridge Portal isnt worth it. Nor a teleother lumbridge as its kind of hard to find someone who is willing to cast it. The only reason to actually teleport to Lumbridge is when you need to get there really really fast, or a lot of times in a row. Sorry to say this, but Lumbridge isnt the trade center as a Falador or Seers or Ardougne or even Varrock is. When you have your POH in Yanille, you wont need Yanille Portal either. So lets list the portals that actually have some use: -Kharyrll (Canifis) -Ardougne -Catherby -Falador -Varrock 5 Portal directions, where nearly everyone with a POH will have chosen for 2 Portal Rooms. So do we need more locations to direct our Portals to? Yes, DEFINITLY. So whereto? I'll leave that up to TB@JT to decide, but a few suggestions: -Ghorrock (Ice Plateau, Ancient version) -Moon Clan (Lunar Magiks) -Kharzard (Lunar Magiks) Please discuss this issue of rendering this aspect of something so recently implemented (POHs are only a few months old) obsolete so soon... PS: If jagex wants to make Trawler popular again, allow us to mount a Lyre, and force it to be one thats charged with 4 charges (aka must have a Manta Ray). Same thing with ancients...

October 22, 200619 yr Love the idea. More portals would be great. But the Lyre idea, BRILLIANT! Why not mount a Lyre? It's just like a glory amulet! We should be able to mount the lyre. I'd be fine not having a Lyre accessible to me and it only in my house. Then again if you're desperate you can always move your house to Rekella. :?
October 22, 200619 yr Or you could just move your house to Taverly, Relekka, or Pollnivneach and not use the Lumbridge portal. Personally I have my house in Yanille with all 6 other portals.
October 22, 200619 yr Well, the whole purpose for the home teleport is really for newer players, that don't have access to houses, tablets or spells. Granted it does make the teleother a bit obsolete (not that I saw a lot of people wanting it in the first place). But once you're higher level, the home teleport is just an extra bonus. If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.[hide=My Stats][/hide]

It will be kind of hard to play on a mount lyre... :lol: We defently need more teleport options. I choosed to put only 1 portal room and I got Kharyrll/Ardougne/Catherby in it and I found Catherby useless. the other 2 I use: Ardougne - save me 1 law each teleport. Kharyrll - faster to slayer tower then ecto. The other ones availble now I just teleport direct to them to save time after all it is the same amount of laws (to house or to the other ones) and some air/water/fire/earth. He's not sugesting to remove the tele, just stating that it may have become useless. And for people that use lumby tele for barrows, power to them. Who cares if you wear a santa hat..... That's no achievment. Who cares if you can have 520M, if you have no friends, as well as no reason to play Runescape?

Go ahead, buy 40 swamp paste with a team of 6 (240 total)... first one you buy is already 27gp, in the end you end up paying several hundreds of gp a paste... lets asume an average of 75gp a paste times 240 pastes a game, that turns to 18k a game, and thats on the bottom end of the estimates...
