I'm sorry we're a day late with the poll, it couldn't be helped. I was on my way to the office in Falador yesterday morning to upload the poll, and as I was strolling along near Falador Park minding my own business, I was accosted by a small group of odd-looking people wearing, of all things, full skeleton suits and jack-o-latern masks! At least, I think they were costumes...I tried to explain to them that they were a day early with the Hallowe'en festivities, but all they did was grunt and mumble something about Diango. I wonder if they meant Diango in Draynor??? In any event, they eventually let me go, and here I am. This week's poll concerns your wishes for a new guild, if the folks over at Jagex ever decide to build a new one. What kind of guild do you think should be next in their plans? Thieving? Farming? Please take a moment to let us know by voting in our poll. Thanks to Lionmonkey3 for the poll suggestion. Happy Hallowe'en everyone, and take it easy with the candy! And if you happen to see three fools dressed up as skeletons in your travels, tell them I've taken down the licence plate number of the flying carpet they flew off on, and I'm coming after them! Happy Hallowe'en! .......I just kinda felt like a thread needed to be started for at least 2 reasons: 1.) The understanding of what a Tip.It Admin ends up going through just to get here.; 2.) The understanding and respect regarding the misery of being ganged up on by a bunch of people during the holidays... My hope with this thread is to cause an existence of less trouble in player-to-player interaction both in-game and on the Tip.It site and forums, as I have found people getting driven nuts to be rather high in frequency as of late Anyway, I leave it up to all to discuss as I leave my own other thoughts in the following quote box: I'm gonna be certain to let them know if ever I trip over them, Kiara. I understand exactly what it is like to get ganged up on by people who don't know something, or want to rag on someone about something, or trail a person around and be a pain to them until the person who's being trailed gives them "free st00f they want" (pardon the term, it is just the one that came to mind) until a person, be it you, me, or another, just wants to give up (and/or possibly throw up from how badly their nerves are rattled or one of many other possible negative things)... Thank you for getting the new poll up, and I hope to see many more good polls posted by you and the other Admins in the future. :) ~Mr. D. V. Does anyone know of a Falador that ISN'T in RuneScape? :-s ... Anyway, oddly enough, I could actually see someone with up to a micro-trail of people on them equivalent to what Zezima has to deal with and having to spend some time having to shake them all off so they can log off without the problem of being trailed at their next logon. (Only reason I mention him is because he faces one of the worst rashes of this. -.- ... Makes me think of the photographers who just can't stop chasing popular people these days IRL. :cry: ...) Heck, just the other day, I had like 7 different people chasing me all wanting free stuff just because I had my full rune on at one point in the day or another. For an F2P who's now got CB LVL 74 and lame normal full rune (yes, I think it is lame compared to God Armor), I felt like I was being driven to madness. Sure, Kiara's load of people trailing her was only around as big as mine get this time around, but it really is frustrating to insanity sometimes when you just want to play RuneScape without being trailed around and then you want to log off without anyone marking your last log-off position. :| ...I seriously get what happened as well as the feelings during it. ~Mr. Devnull and normally with a cool mind.(Warning: This user can be VERY confusing to some people... I'm levle 75 combat, pure freeplayer, for all that's worth. I did get a rune(h1), and green dragonhide (g), and even when I;m in lumbrighe, i can't pick up en entourage. I think it's because I am such a "Dork". In any case, I have seen directly what happens. I went to the second TET slave auction party, (the last hour of it anyway). I was amazing that everyone wanted to follow barihawk and everyone around in circles instead of waiting where they stopped and clicking furiously. I don't know why these people attract such devout followers, but I could never handle that. No one pays attention to me in real life, or on runescape, and being an introvert, I like it that way, I have 10 people on my friends list, and life is good like that. In any case, I do acknowlege that the more famous players do have much difficulty. I could never be able to face that, and respect them highly. Kiara may have been joking about whether she was 'accosted' or may not have been, but either way, this topic accounts to nothing more than a rant about people following you about. What exactly do you expect such 'individual members' of Tip.It Staff to say if or when they read this? 'Thanks so much for this, you are really making a difference to our community and making our lives so much easier'? Somehow, I think not...
