On Tip.it, it says it makes 1.5x the number of sand and ash/seaweed into glass. If you don't have enough inventory space, what does it do with the rest of the glass?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, should I get my magic from 71 to 74 and do Lunar Diplomacy (I have all the requirements) to use this method, or should I stick with making glass in Port Phasmatys?

The quest allows you to unless some nice spells, and you obtain a ncie set of armor. i'd recommend it, but don't do the quest if your only doing it for the glass spell, cause you may not persue this hobby for long.

Very nice guide, maybe some pics. And you may consider using some other colours, letter size, etc. to make it look better. But you get a =D> anyways.

I wouldn't do it just for the glass spell; some of the others look fun to play around with. When I get around to power training noncombat skills, this might come in handy.

Haven`t you even tried it? They don`t drop on the floor, it is impossible to make that many glass. When you cast the spell with 13 sand and 13 seaweed(and runes), you end up with 15-20 molten. Nothing else. You lose your buckets.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Super glassmake is an incredibly fast spell for crafting xp. Sure the xp per molten is lowered from 20 to 10, but you can stand in a bank and make molten all day. This is about 20 times faster than Port Phasmus, because one spell makes all of the supplies into molten, as opposed to 14 clicks on the forge to make 14 molten, you only click 1 spell to make 18-20 molten.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Also, the battle staffs in the mage guild are 125 gp cheaper than the ones in the lunar shop, which are 125 cheaper than the ones in Zaff`s Staff shop.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

It is far better to alch them as you buy staffs. You can start with 10k, alch as you go, and keep buying staffs with the profits.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Collecting seaweed is also another way to go. With enchanted lyres (quest item from Fremmy Trials), you can tele to Rekella and collect 680 seaweed an hour. I have 30 lyres just for that purpose.

Actually you make UP TO 1.5 times as much glass. Not always 1.5 times as much. Sometimes you make less than 1.5 times as much.

I am glad someone suggested this. As I read all the posts I noticed that no one collected the seaweed from Relleka near the rock crabs. Thats where I get all mine from. And if you dont have enchanted lyres, you can go the the bank in Keldagrim (sp?- the dwarf city). Then simply leave the way you came in and collect more seaweed, repeat. I found that to be the fastest way other than buying.

D`oh! Who can save 60mil when crafting b staffs? I end up buying tons of runes because they are so convieniently there for purchase.

It took a rediculously long time, but it was defiently worth it...Took so long to get seaweed and sand and enchant EARTH ORBS!!! :evil:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

But although with the annoyness of doing it, its worth it to stand in edge bank and say "i'm alching 1.3k Earth Battlestaves, how bout u?"

 

 

 

I seriously suggest this for anyone who wants to make some nice cash.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Btw: If you are able to use lunar magicks, and don't get dizzy easily, i suggest goign to baba yaga, she has a stock that no one goes to really. You should mention something about worldswitching also.
