Mayjest
You hung around for 15 mins to see if the guy showed up. Without knowing who he was, there's nothing more you could do. The items were just gonna disappear otherwise... think of it like you 'liberated' innocent items from destruction and the hands of careless Runescape 'item disappearing' laws! Goals to get my skills back up to a barely respectable level on the high scores: Currently going for Bone to Peaches spell. It's amazing how boring doing the same repetitive task is! BloodArgon
No one there would EVER give ANYTHING back, they would have sold it all, your completely right for willing to give it back, screw those noobies and switch worlds... Congratz on the pile, someone got runes, weapons, and my guthans war spear one time when I died there. 99 Crafting :: 39,750th || 99 Attack :: 1,775th
Solidus_77
you are correct in your idea, it's a question of value (if this next part is confusing, replace "cells" by "people") If the person is a rude, selfish, snobby brat, what value could there possibly be in choosing him/her? Those kind of people are worthless, they are just cells, so better to choose pixels over cells. But if this person is polite, friendly, and kind, then there would be plenty of value in choosing him/her? those cells are valuable, even though they are just cells and it would be very unwise to choose some pixels over those valuable cells. Then there is the current reality situation, where you had no cells who came back to claim the pixels. So you made the right choice so to speak because there was no choice to make. 76th to reach 99 Construction on 6th of February 2007379th to reach 99 Runecrafting on 4th of November 2007 Finally the secrets of goal achieving are revealed! shadedragon
You were very right. You said you would base it on the first impression. And I agree with what someone said on the first page, chances are none of them would have given it back.
Itsjustagame
well id personally never give anything back I came upon. They died, I didnt see it happen, my own personal gain. If I saw the person die, and if they pmed me asking for it back, I'd return it. If they dont pm me, Im not going to waste my time hunting them down. 12pure34
I think those people you met could be classified as: 'noobs' The way you told your story, completely fills in with my ideas. If someone wants his stuff back, they could ask nicely. As YOU! are helping THEM, someone who you do not know, with retrieving his lost items, which.. you found. If they, for no reason at all expect them to help you, retrieving all of their lost stuff.. then I would say.. thank you for your gear. But if they are polite.. they tell you they died there and IF! they may have their stuff back. Then I would have no problem what so ever, to give them back. A lot of the times the nice people give you something as a present (of their lost and retrieved stuff) as a 'Thank you.' No, you have not done anything wrong, you just told it to the wrong kind of people
