Jaziek
And by 40gig you mean a 4gig overpriced Datel bulky drive that is stupid to buy considering it costs more then two 2gigs of pro duo And by 'having 95' you mean, a shell that looks like 95. and by 'having no life hax9ng all the time' you mean : Moved downloaded eboot file across a usb cable onto a folder in the psp. Or used an easy [Caution: ExecutableFile] installer... .... no - i mean 40 gig and obviously it only looks like 95 - but to all intents and purposes - it is

The psp can only read up to 4gb of space of a memory stick. Unless you did some UBBER 1337 hacking the hard drive will now work. I'm guessing you would have this hard drive with a usb to memory stick adapter.

Anesthesia
and obviously it only looks like 95 - but to all intents and purposes - it is No, if it only looks like 95 then it only looks like 95. I could make XP look like 95, I could make SUSE look like 95 - it doesn't mean either of them are windows 95 though. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be. Kinslayer777
Very interesting indeed. I was under the impression only one of the 1.5+ could read +4gig. Or perhaps 2.71 SP could run it :/ I'd like to hear more about this 40gig harddrive on the back :s

dsavi
Dude, I tried it on my Dad's nokia e61, but it didn't really seem to work. So i tried changing the Java applet, and it started loading, but it was taking to long and nothing appeared on the RS screen so I stopped. I don't know about other handhelds, but you would need a very expensive one (at least 64 mb of ram, and at leat 600mhz processor) and it would be very difficult navigating. w00t, I'm posting this from my dad's nokia e61, so these forums definately work on a handheld! EDIT: This phone I said about has three things- big screen, mouse, keyboard. But a mouse is not neccesary since all handhelds have touchscreens. Ape
Just buy a tablet PC. But Runescape will be very laggy. And tablet PCs are about ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1200? My iPaq was near ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã400 when it was released. Apparently, there is a way to do it. My mate does his fletching on his iPaq(the same as mine) and it's amazing to fletch on. Hard to notice random events. Also, you need to run RS at about 800x600 as said in previous posts, thus, on a 200+x'something' screen, you're gonna' be doing alot of scrolling. -Mitch New sig to come! Kinslayer777
Ahaha "You can install anthing...really easy" Granted, you said you can install windows 95 easy. But not only is installing things on psp designed to be HARD but like previous more knowledgeable users then me have said it's not possible really. Here's a link I was curious if maybe people knew more at anandtech.com and posted a (similar) question: http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview ... erthread=y he PSP has a major problem that stopped all the linux projects dead cold. It does not have an on board memory controller. You would have to run something like muLinux. No one has tried to do the port of muLinux to PSP yet, because muLinux is very limited(I believe), and is mainly used for things like routers. At least that's what I gleened from the last time I tried to do any major research on the homebrew OS sceen for the PSP. It would be kind of nice in theory, but the userbase and the hardware itself just isn't powerful enough to warrent the manpower to code something other than a total hack job. Sp4de
I don't think you understand how difficult it is to port linux to a device like that - it requires teams of people, and that's when the source is available... Win95 is a whole different story. He didn't put windows 95 on it. http://psp-news.dcemu.co.uk/bochspsp.shtml :-w :-w ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâï(̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâú_o)/̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâï

Anesthesia
Exactly, even in the text of mine that you quoted I said port - not emulate. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
