I'm glad they're finally done and out of the way. I plan on keeping that cape on my back too :P Celebrated by hitting up Jiggig for some bonesies. Then off to range Fire Giants and finally finish up my slayer task. Not sure what I'll train ranged on after this task is complete :P Hopfully Chaeldar picks a good task for me. heh

Erg. Well, I died. I might've been alright as far as supplies but I got a bit lazy. At 360 180 90 I had both the 360 and the 90 on me, and the 90 was not playing nice :( wasn't sure where to run, panic = death pl0x.

 

 

 

So I tried again with 2 crystal bows, and a couple more sara brews than last time. I went in and wth? Guthans wouldn't heal me at all. Didn't seem worth it to waste super restores or Sara Brews so early in the caves, so I just let them take me and started again fresh. Again. Why can't I heal? Worst luck ever? Must be another bad run, I'll let this one go as well. WAIT. Took a look at my equipment. I had Torags Legs instead of Guthans Skirt. Do'h! #-o What a waste of time =D>

 

 

 

Anyway, for the second real attempt: In the middle of it I figured I ought to play it safer and do a lot more ranging and conserve my prayer. Made it to 360 90 90 but by then I was almost out of super restores. Still had all my sara brews though. Yargh. If only I swapped one or two out :wall:

 

 

 

So now I've gotta make a bit of money, degrade and recharge my bow. Then I'll go again. Instead of charging one of my seeds I bought a brand new bow from that one fellow. Jeez, man. These cost a pretty penny! Anyhow, yeah...Back to fishing :o

For the most part I spent the day Barrowing and degrading my crystal bow. I like how it performs at barrows, actually. It took a while for it to degrade from just ranging Ahrim, so I paid the bloodvelds a visit. I will probably end up using these over Karils Crossbow just in general. Got a D med from Barrows. My first Dragon Drop. Heh. I'll make another attempt at the fire cape after completing the new quest if that comes out tomorrow. After that, I'll give it one last go. If I don't get it within those two attempts, I'll take a hint and do more leveling before I try again.

I heart the new quest

 

 

 

The quest is short and sweet. (Love the combat req. Hehe :twisted: ) The Rewards are awesome. Level 96 for Spellbook change and I'd be on Lunar forever. If only one could spellbook change and set a slayer staff to auto cast Magic Dart. I would be on Lunar forever.

Made another attempt at the fight caves. Things were looking great. got to 360 180 90 45, 11 and a half super restores and I hadn't even touched my three sara brews. Thought it was the one. Then I got a call telling me my parents' car was ready to be picked up from the shop. Had to log off so I could go get it, died as soon as I came back. :cry:

 

 

 

Quite frustrating. :? Anyhow, back to fishing. I guess I'll do a few barrow runs with the c bow again later today<3 Fight caves again tomorrow. :pray:

Best wishes as you work towards a fire cape. That's on my list of goals as well, but I'm not worried about getting it any time soon. I'll do it eventually. :-P However my husband is currently trying hard to get a cape and while in between waves one night he had to log outÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ when he came back he was outside the cave and had to start overÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ what did he do wrong?

 

 

 

And by the way, MEGA congrats on the great clue reward!!! I've got all my clues logged on my blog and you can see that I've gotten 95% junk and the 5% that wasn't complete junk was still only so-so. How bout you send me some of that good luck of yours? ;-)

If you need to log out between waves, click on "Click here to log out" once. A message (in the chat box) will come up saying "if you click log out before the wave ends your progress will not save; if you log out after finishing this wave, your progress will save." Once you kill all of the monsters in the current wave, it will log you out if you were using a safe spot (if you weren't, you'll get the message "you must wait 10 seconds after combat before logging out." just wait a bit and click log out) However, when you log back in, you'll be smack in the center of the caves and the next wave will have started, so chances are that there will be monsters on your behind as soon as you get back. :? Logging out at waves where you have 360's isn't recommended at all. :shock:

@Death_Dude: I recommend the animated armor for tokens. Killing animated rune armor gives 40 tokens each time. That room is also right by the bank for fast and easy food restocking.

Mmhmm, animated armor is probably the fastest way to get tokens. I'd suggest Black (Level 69 - 20 Tokens) or Mithril (Level 92 - 25 Tokens) armor.

 

 

 

Definately yes for Barbarian Assault sometime. I do need to record the Defender Role in action :D

Saturday I sold the D Legs and bought enough Dragon Bones for 70 Prayer Cheated on the Ecto a bit and used my gilded altar. Sorry, Ecto. I still wub you :oops:

 

 

 

Sunday I bought the rest of Veracs and did some Barrows using that. I like it quite a bit I still use Ranged on Ahrim (using Karils and a crystal bow). No drops at all but I'm stocking up on free runes =P~ Here's what happened.

It takes a bit longer to kill the brothers with my attack and strength levels, and I end up eating quite a bit, but still it's faster since I don't have to worry about getting my Kill Count up to make up for lost runes. having to eat so much gets scary :ohnoes: and downright frustrating when guthan keeps healing off of me :evil: lol but I'm glad I got this set

 

 

 

Did some spontaneous Mole-killing afterwards with Death and a couple other friends. the loot was alright, and completely free. Killed her four or five times, I think, without having to recharge prayer. could've stayed for ages but we headed off to Barbarian Assault instead.
