Na, it's coincidence and purpose slightly...I liked thieving a lot...crafting has always been one of my favorites because of the variety...so i wanted 99 in it. I also dislike walking around with a cliche cape (cooking, fletching, strength)

 

 

 

Those skills also bore me, i like skills where there's some extra required than just doing click x.

If you get on, we're going barrowing :P

 

 

 

P.s. I'm going for 99 thieving atm (or at least trying), do you have any tips?

Have you played at all since you've gotten back? If not, I can't believe that your parents won't let you play. My parents don't care at all and I'm playing like 5+ hours each day, hehe. But I'm not obsessed, I get all of my chores done, and I read like 50 pages of a book every day, so there's no problem. Just explain that to your parents; there's no point in keeping your from playing a game as long as you do everything you're supposed to do.

My parents do care though, but what i don't get is that i've been on the computer probably just as much as if i was playing rs, but i've heard no complaints whatsoever. I think part of it is just following through with "no rs for the summer" It's a huge pain, because i want to play, but i don't want to stir things up for a battle i'm not going to win.
