zaquierming
i prefer fire cape for 2 reasons 1. Takes skill to get 2. Alot more stressfull if you get to jad and miss click or lose connection Yeah, losing 2 hours is much more stressful than getting 99 runecrafting, herblore, farming, slayer, or agility. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
sessie
Why in earth do you care so much about the looks in this game, which are complete inferior to graphics in game like wow. If you want a goodlooking char, then maybe play another game. If you want rather nice gameplay runescape might be your choice. If you do combat you wear the firecape since its the best cape, if you do mage you might consider a godcape and if you skill you wear the spottier cape since it has the most use. Cbkviper
what's so hard about a fire cape? i saw people under lvl 50 get them What'd so hard about a skill cape? I've seen people level 3 with them  But more on-topic: When I'm training combat, I wear my fire. When I train non-combat skills, i wear my skill cape. Freesia
if i do recall, it only took one week for a 99 cape in hunting Try to no-life it like them and you will find that its not easy at all. I bet you'll give up before even the 3rd day Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. X2theZ
Is it better to fight with a fire cape or a strength cape with the boost?
tripsis
If it was a cape other than fletching/cooking, then 99 cape. But if it were those two, then fire cape :P As for which one is harder, it definitely depends on what the skill is. what's so hard about a fire cape? i saw people under lvl 50 get them What'd so hard about a skill cape? I've seen people level 3 with them  But more on-topic: When I'm training combat, I wear my fire. When I train non-combat skills, i wear my skill cape. They're both pretty hard. Sure people lvl 60 and under can get fire capes, but it requires a lot of experience and practice. There are quite a few 80s-110s who can't get them just because they don't know the correct tacticts or just aren't great at prayer switching. And yes, certain skill capes are easy (cooking, fletching), yet all of them require a lot of time, effort and in some cases, gp. They're both difficult in their own ways, just some are easier than others  - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog
Dork
Is it better to fight with a fire cape or a strength cape with the boost? Fire. Most people with 99 strength will be using stat boosting potions most of the time anyway. ;) Sig And Avatar by Tripsis - 99 Slayer Blog - My Pyramid Plunder GuideOwner of Fire Cape since 28-09-2005 - 426th to 99 Strength
Lep
Slayer and Farming cape are definately the hardest skills in the game. I'd wear one of those capes over Fire anytime. I'm actually thinking about 99 Slayer for a possible future goal of mine. :|
desirus
99 firemaking cape IF i was ever patient enough to get it :D
Lord_Gromit
I'd pick fire cape over any skill cape. Its bonuses are better, it looks cooler, and it shows more of your personal skills than your characters pixel skills.
Arieder
I'd have to say 99 cape, and i'd wear my 99 cooking cape over a fire, I sent MONTHS working on it =). RunePlanet Owner - AddictSig Creator
