December 3, 200619 yr Author any of em as they are all hard to get chat is ON...hyt me!^dragonwizerd was the frist one to listen to my sig^^
December 3, 200619 yr depends on the cape like i would wear a fire cape over a cooking cape, but a prayer/herb/farm/etc cape over fire cape i'd say 99 capes in general, b/c fire cape only really requires 43 pryaer an 70 range and def
December 3, 200619 yr Personally I believe the fire cape is harder to obtain, purely because it takes skill to obtain, unlike skill capes that require purely time and/or money. Just re-read that and it sounds soo strange.. But then again, considering not many people put time into skills, I'd wear that over a fire cape. Confusing? Yes, well I amaze myself sometimes as well. :-$
December 3, 200619 yr Author i think tha fire cape is easier to obtain(not that it's easy to obtain)while skills(besides con herblore...etc)take alot of time unless they are money based :o chat is ON...hyt me!^dragonwizerd was the frist one to listen to my sig^^
December 3, 200619 yr I would wear a fire cape over most skill capes, the capes like runecrafting, agility, prayer, or construction warrant being worn. I LOVE SMILIES =P
December 3, 200619 yr If you are after the bonus, always wear fire cape over 99 cape unless you have trimmed 99 capes Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(.
December 3, 200619 yr in the "status ladder", hard 99 capes > fire cape > noob 99 capes in stats, fire cape > all.
December 3, 200619 yr As much as you call capes "noob" capes, even the easiest takes many hours and lots of cash to earn. My Goals and Achievements
December 3, 200619 yr I think it's a much bigger task to fight off hordes of monsters, leading up to a confrontation with a level 702 that can KO you in one hit just because of an accidental prayer switch (or lack of) as opposed to standing in one spot, withdrawing herbs and vials, mixing them, withdrawing seconds, mixing them, then repeating the process. (You can substitute any skill for the latter.) Maybe it's just because I don't have any skill capes but I do have a fire. Who knows. Ranked top 15 in the world for In The Groove. December 3, 200619 yr Yes, but even the most moronic fighter can, with the right equipment, get a fire cape with less time and expense than most of the skill capes. My Goals and Achievements
December 3, 200619 yr Author you can get a fire cape in a day or so(10 hours+)but it takes weeks...months....to get 99 of a skill. chat is ON...hyt me!^dragonwizerd was the frist one to listen to my sig^^

December 3, 200619 yr for cool looks- fire cape, or slayer cape  , for bonuses - fire cape, for respect- slayer cape, agility cape, or runecrafting cape as they take the longest. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=582384 -my irit farming blog!
December 3, 200619 yr I just think that even in the two hours it takes to get a fire cape, you actually have a challenge. You have an incredibly hard task that even properly equipped can lead to death instantly. Whereas to get a skill cape, sure you have to spend more time, but even a moronic skiller can sit at a fire all day cooking sharks to get the cape. The only challenge is time - unless you're on your deathbed, you pretty much have all the time you need. Ranked top 15 in the world for In The Groove. Click to watch videos.I'm back! For now.
December 3, 200619 yr Tis true, time is time. But honestly, the Legends cape takes skill, too. Less skill, yes, but still more than skill capes. My Goals and Achievements
December 3, 200619 yr 99 cape any day... As long as it's not fletching or cooking since those are pretty common ones.
December 3, 200619 yr Tis true, time is time. But honestly, the Legends cape takes skill, too. Less skill, yes, but still more than skill capes. I can see where you're coming from. But again, as with the skill capes, there's no true challenge in the Legend's Quest (in my opinion). As long as you have prayer pots and protect from melee, you're safe from the demon. In the fight caves, you've got to continuously manipulate monsters for two hours and prayer switch to perfection for around 10 minutes. I just think that outweighs the skill capes. December 3, 200619 yr Fire, cuz it takes more then endless clicking, it takes strategy. ~Saruman44 I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. December 3, 200619 yr As much as you call capes "noob" capes, even the easiest takes many hours and lots of cash to earn. 99 cooking takes a week. fire cape takes many hours and lots of cash to get.
December 3, 200619 yr You make a good point, ddr. I do think you and I underestimate the amount of "skill" involved in a 99 cape. Sure I can buy 99 in several stats - but the cash doesn't come from nowhere. I'll tell you straight up that it has taken lots of savvy for me to get as far as I have with skills, and not be totally broke. I have strategies for getting the best price and/or fastest/cheapest xp that didn't spring fully formed from Zeus' brow. Sure, it's a different kind of skill, but skill nonetheless. Personally, I think that supermerchants have the best skill of any in game, since theirs is actually usable outside of runescape. My Goals and Achievements
December 3, 200619 yr As much as you call capes "noob" capes, even the easiest takes many hours and lots of cash to earn. 99 cooking takes a week. fire cape takes many hours and lots of cash to get. Week > Many Hours Both fire cape and cooking takes cash.
