click my sig for my blog!!!

Thanks everyone for the sigs they pwn!

No. Why should i give presents for someone in rs?

Most selfish thing I've ever heard

Fire cape offcourse, all the skill capes look ugly if you face your character front, the stupid flaps ruin them IMO :?

99 Slayer since August 2007.

You make a good point, ddr.

I do think you and I underestimate the amount of "skill" involved in a 99 cape. Sure I can buy 99 in several stats - but the cash doesn't come from nowhere.

I'll tell you straight up that it has taken lots of savvy for me to get as far as I have with skills, and not be totally broke. I have strategies for getting the best price and/or fastest/cheapest xp that didn't spring fully formed from Zeus' brow. Sure, it's a different kind of skill, but skill nonetheless.

Personally, I think that supermerchants have the best skill of any in game, since theirs is actually usable outside of runescape.

Perhaps I do underesitmate it. As I said, I don't have any 99 skills. If I get 99 runecraft, I'm sure I would flaunt it for a while. But I'd go back to my fire.

You will eat your own words of those. If you ever get 99 rc you will wear that cape all the time. :P

And seriously. The bonus difference aint that big.

And getting 99 ranged in a skill aint just clicking as some of you are saying (just because you have no 99 stat yourself  )

Getting 99 takes patience and determinism (that is my english vocabulary)

99 skill capes all the time :)

99 ranged | 99 magic | 99 defence | 99 hitpoints

Remember, it's just a game

fire cape,

-great bonus

-its harder then any skill cape

any of em as they are all hard to get

Some are easier to get than others... There aren't even 100 players with maxed herblore but well over 5k with a cooking cape for example. For regular training it would be a fire cape, for just walking around a "harder" skill cape (like slayer for example).

Retired

2146 overall - 136 combat - 6 skillcapes

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

I would like both but i would pick the 99 Cape.

Slayer cape would look nice on me

fire cape,

Try getting farming to 99 in the same time you got your fire cape ?

..::Attack, Mage, Ranged & Hitpoints 99 | Total DK Drops: #223++::..

I seriously think that fire cape is much harder, for most skills all you need is time\money, but some ppl cant even do fight caves because it requires true skill

P.S if anyone think "wow a lvl (47) got the cape anyone can" well guess what a lvl 3 can get many 99 skill capes :-w :XD:

Are you saying that getting the fire cape is harder than getting any of the skill capes?

Riiiiiight. Getting 99 agility takes no time. :XD:

I combine them, Firemaking cape ftw =P~

Now using spottier cape, got annoying with the "Show emo pls"

fire capes require skill? :?

sorry to pop your balloons kiddies but nothing in runescape requires skill

Oh with my full 99 combat stats excluding 96magic i can get a fire cape in 1hr 40mins

It would take me around 8000-9000hours to get 99rc. Therefore i will not ever attempt it.

More like 700 :ohnoes:

Kale Stille got 99 rc one year after it was released... If it took 8000 hours (even before FFL and abyss!), he must have played 22 hours a day for 360 days straight.

Also, Larryr has over 150m rc xp. If he got 99 in 8000 hours, then 150m would be at least 80000 hours. If that was true, he must have played 24/7 since 1997, and RCing came out in 2004(together with RS2)

firecape because how often do you see some lvl 90 with one? plus it gives better bonuses and thats the whole reason I tried to get one

I had a fire cape, and havent touched it once since the skill capes. Love my smithing cape :)

Torlen.png

i prefer fire cape for 2 reasons

1. Takes skill to get

2. Alot more stressfull if you get to jad and miss click or lose connection

Thanks Yaff2 for the sig^,^

fire cape: skill

skill cape: time

nuff said, unless you're talking about a 99rc cape or 99 prayer cape, those take so much time to get that they are actually better than fire

Kuja_Cocoa.png

I would choose any 99 cape over a fire cape during skilling or just walking around because it may be an easy 99(cooking,fletching,etc.) but It also takes a lot of money and time.

^ Thanks Tiff <3:

what's so hard about a fire cape?

i saw people under lvl 50 get them

i have a few 99 capes and a fire cape

i prefer 99 capes

i can seriously make a pure and get a firecape within a week since i already know what and how to do it, i've had to get the fire cape 5 times and i haven't lost there after the first time i beat it

pretty much all you need is 43+ prayer and 70+ range

What?

m_theory11.png

if i do recall, it only took one week for a 99 cape in hunting

Fire Cape any day

I would wear my skill cape. Skill capes are a lot harder to get than a fire cape, and takes a lot more effort and devotion to get.

To get a fire cape, you just have to spend a few hours in the Fight Caves. You may die a few times, but overall it probably won't even take a week to get. After you get the fire cape you can sell some of the items you bought to get it, so it doesn't even cost a lot of money.

It takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 8 months to get a skill to 99, and usually costs a lot of money. Training a skill is also extremely repetitive and boring, so it's harder to keep yourself focused and reach your goal.
