December 8, 200619 yr vs. Hang on! Is it just me or does it appear taht the 3rd age plate has no ranged attack penalty and less mage attack penalty? If that is true, i can see it used in barrows. Mage attack wouldnt matter anyway if you are using slayer dart. For about the TEN MILLIONTH TIME, magic level and bonus DO affect slayer dart. The only reason so many people use slayer dart is: a) It's low level, and therefore more accurate B) It's cheaper than most decent spells because the power of the spell raises with your level. I'm going to hunt down and kill whoever started this rumor. The only reason people use this spell out of rune or Karil's or what not is because the monsters they use them against, meaning barrow brothers excluding Ahrim and Dagganoth Rex, is because those monsters have a penalty of about 50 in their magic defense.
