In detail:

 

 

 

3rd age warrior set is better then full drag (bye-bye full drag prices) and doesnt degrade like barrows sets do, but they dont beat them in form of protection...

 

 

 

The ranger set is exactly the same as black dragonhide, but has an increased magic defense.

 

 

 

The mage stuff has the same stats as Infinity.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The new prayer stuff isnt all that good compared to Proselyte, but the Stole (scarf like thing) provides a nice boost to prayer. And since you need 60 prayer to wear it, you can guarantee that you'll see these things used in barrows and fight caves. The mitre (hat) has 1 better pray bonus then Proselyte does. The cloak has +3 pray bonus. Both fo these items are best used when you plan on surviving on prayer anyways, instead of armor, or a combination of armor and prayer.

 

 

 

I wouldnt be surprised when this prayer stuff (except scarf and cape), became obsolete at the next White Knight quest (which probably y8elds you the ability of being able to buy stuff equal to rune armor, but with prayer bonuses better then Proselyte)...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Everything else is just like a trimmed version of the originals (much like Saradomin trimmed rune armor, there is now Saradomin, Zamorak and Guthix trimmed black dragonhide armor, cool to fool people with, but no stat enhancers).

 

 

 

Except for the coifs, but their bonusses dont out-do a rangers hat or archer fremenik helm enough to spend so much cahs on them...

rawr, will not be 3-5m... they are better than dragon, i think they look better, so most likely they are worth around 20mil a set when dragon prices fall down.

Once the prices drop a lot, I'll be planning on buying a few TT items. The 3rd age warrior armour set will eventually average 15m+, that's the next main thing for me to buy on my shopping list. :D

You forgot the 3rd age coif is better than a robin and that dragon is expensive because of its rarity, not because of its stats.

Jagex said these new items are gonna be rarer then the imp chalenge scroll, and you know what zezima said about them, so personally I think they'll be rarer then dragon.

Also, it should be noted that the new 3rd age melee shield provides the best melee protection (not ranged though)

I never said anything about the rarity of the 3rd-age junk, I said that dragon is expensive because it is so rare. These new items don't make dragon items any easier to get.

For the 3rd age melee armour, there isnt an (m) round each of them on the knowledge database. Is this a typo? Or are they really f2p? Same for range but not mage.

Hang on! Is it just me or does it appear taht the 3rd age plate has no ranged attack penalty and less mage attack penalty? If that is true, i can see it used in barrows.

the only way i could see the ammy getting used in ANY way of ANY value is if these are truely armor sets, as in there is some special advantage to wearing the full set, (i.e. wear full ahrims u get to lower str of oponite)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but so far it looks like mages need to stick with a 55k glory or 5m fury and forget that this third age ammy even exists.

Those 3rd age melee armor stats look very very powerful.

 

 

 

I wonder does this mean the end of Dragon armor or are those 3rd age armors EXTREMELY rare so they will not affect prices alot.

That 3rd age plate gives stat bonuses specific to chains... Highest crush defence bonus, no penealty in range attack... :-s Now i think if that was made on purpose or not...

I think you're forgetting about the demand side of supply and demand. While the new items don't affect the availability of dragon items, I'm sure a few people will be using their resources towards getting the new items instead. How great a fall in demand will be is up in the air, but I'm sure there will be something.
