The bomb will only get to finish it's countdown (and therefore blast you all to hell, almost needless to say) in the event that I fail to return, or I don't see at least 100 points counted. (e.g.: You're going to have to reach 10,744 to defeat this one.) However, should you succeed in counting off 100 points, I will be dishing out a nuclear-size set of barrels of cookies. So, you have as equally bad a nightmare that could come, as you have a potential dish of heaven waiting off on the side.
