I am deciding to put a lightsource directly above the character ( If you understand where I got the idea from you'll know why). So, I put the lighter colour around the shoulders and that, and put more lighter colours at the top of the head. I also made the shading on the sleeves more noticable. I sent a bucketfull of mice to obliterate the moon. They will be done soon. The flame will be the primary source of light now :D Fixing up the shading now. ur guys shadow is in the wrong place #-o if the fire is casting the shadow then it should be going away from the fire, like.... tothe bottom left of the screen. Anyways, I would like to do another pixel signature, because sticking with one for a prolonged amount of time just isn't my style. So, you guy's get to help me come up with an idea for a sig. Now, onto the Ideas. I would like to do something involving a person (Preferably me :D the Guy in the green shirt with white sleeves, that you know deep down you love seeing : ) or someone else, whatever. I would like to do a sig in the darkness of the night because that is my style and absolutely No water because I stink at pixelling water. So in summary, I need an idea for a nighttime pixel signature which includes a person doing a night time activity with no water. peter_selie Posted January 1, 2007 Share Posted January 1, 2007 Whoa, quadruple posts, classy. :thumbsup: Anways, you could do something with a character sitting in a jail cell (nice and medieval preferred), with a bit of a cold mood, make sure it's from an angle with which you can show just what you want. You could use a torch as the main light source, and the moon shining through the bars of a high window as a secondary one. And if you feel up to it, some water (:) dripping from the window and past some bricks. You could add details like a skeleton (maybe one with it's head stuck inbetween bars), mice walking around, a bird in front of the moon, the shadow of a guard walking by..and that's just about where my ideas end. :| Good luck on finding inspiration :D Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The idea is the character (Moia) is painting a world around him, I'm getting the basic linework done now so here goes. The arm: Needs to lossen up a bit, it's too tight. The shirt: It just looks like lines in the shirt, try and get it to become real* Not real real* try and make the shirt fold up, instead of make lines. The paintbrush: what is that? it's just like black and grey colors together*loving the shading though* there is no shape with the paint brush, try and shape it a little bit. the actual figure: it looks flat tbh, is that a neck or a coler? where is the body standing?
