So magic comp is about 75% of shorts speed (lets assume that my recording wasn't perfect) and has ~4,35% better range bonus (72/69*100% - 100%)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

---> So the comp bow is ~22% worse than short (100% - 75*1,0435...%)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course for better armour penetration it might (not!) be a good choise.

i am 99 range i got one the other day.. I personally didn't like it all too much... was a lil slower and i didn't really didn't hit as well with it... It looks cool as hell though i will give jagex that...

I bought one and I like it, longer range and a bit greater accuracy, and it's about the same speed of a crystal bow. Plus it looks so cool \

i got magic comp bow when it first came out. I'm 94 range and used it right away on Nechryaels. Took a lot longer to kill them than my magic short bow so ended up selling it for 600k when it was going around 800k to 1.1 mil. The special on it was frustrating.

The special takes up 4/10 of the bar so you can only do it twice, as for what it does im not sure yet :oops:

Maybe add up all the damage taken & your ranged lvl and we can run some tests for Tip.It's updated Ranged Max Calculatorrrrr :D <-- anyone use that smiley anymore?

i here the mag comp bow only uses 50% of special so i think thats better

The special uses 35% of the bar and it's the same as the MLB.

The special is powershot, the same as what the magic longbow has.

Could somebody please post a picture of someone wielding it? I'm interested as to what it looks like. :)

So its a new bow - basically the same as MLB with a slightly higher range and a much bigger price tag? - Seems like a waste to me.

I like speed better than power (I do love crystal bow tho) which is why I use darts for training myself.
