And if I remember right, the very gross 6 second rule is that if you drop food to the ground, it's still good to eat if you pick it up before six seconds have been passed. yuck.

I just pick it up, clean it and eat it.

Unless it fell into dogs excrement. Not even one second rule would save it after that.

Define "IT teacher".

A teacher who teaches the subject of "IT" (no specialisation) at econdary school or below.

What grade is secondary school in the United States?

High school?

The UK is primary school, secondary school, college, then Uni. Secondary school and college are high school. Right? Or is secondary school half of middle school and high school?

Righto, great one. Believe it or not this is a rule of thumb or whatever you call em.

There was once a boy who found a note in his playground at school. He showed it to his mates and said 'Hey, I don't know what this means. Can you explain?' They screamed and ran away. He went to the teacher and said 'Hey, I don't know what this means. Can you explain?' and the teacher said I'm sorry lad but I'm going to have to take you to the Headmaster. The boy showed the note to his headteacher and said 'Hey, I don't know what this means. Can you explain?' The master said 'I'm sorry lad but I'm going to have to expel you,' On his way home the boy met a policeman and asked him again what it meant, but the man said 'I'm sorry lad but I'm going to have to arrest you,'

The boy shared a prison cell with a dangerous convict and dared to ask him 'Hey, I don't know what this means. Can you explain?' The convict beat him up and both were taken to the High Court of England, where the boy said to the judge 'Hey, I don't know what this means. Can you explain?' The judge said

The question was, "What grade is secondary school in the United States?"

I was answering, highschool is from 9th to 12th.

I wasn't even talking to you, don't tell me that I'm wrong.

Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

I find the original rule of thumb to be the most useful: Don't beat your woman with anything wider than your thumb. I don't know why that is, I guess if you beat her with something small enough the bruises won't last as long.

Dang nabbit, that's what I was going to say. In England, you were allowed to beat your wife with a birchrod so long as it wasn't thicker than your thumb.

I had two high school IT teachers. One was dumber than a door nail and the other, while he was a terrible teacher, knew quite a bit about computing.

I was just making sure you weren't including professors in that rule of thumb though :P
