Nadril
Hmm... Fintroll is pretty interesting. Mixture of folk and viking metal. Fun to listen to usualy. I'm going to go ahead and recomend Ildjarn as well, just because there really is nothing that sounds like it. No band to date that I have heard of has been able to replicate what he's done. Animus is a great choice as well. To be honest I can't even describe what it is... but its just well, amazing. To somewhat quote a review I read: "even if you got all of the same instruments, same location same time... you would not be able to recreate this". Out of those three I'd recomend Animus the most, really changed my view on music.

cloud_nz23
Michael Jackson, right now. No I'm only joking. Most of the posts here include metal/rock/blues/fusion etc. and Futurama asked for any unique music, so I'm going to say: Adeaze - samoan/NZ rnb, gospel, soul. Oh hang on, then theres a guy who calls himself Zipso, a "rapper" from Suvai'i. He has a pretty unique (and catchy) sound. : <~[ FLAME_ON!! ]~>on/off RSplayer since 2000

I'd also class Muse, Tool and David Bowie as being very unique, although all Bands are unique in some way. Thanks Venomai for this super sig and Kwimbob for the awesome avatar! They don't sound like each other at all, but muse is heavily influenced with radiohead, and that's what matthew bellamy said. personally I think that they are completely different. Futurama
If people didn't take influence from each other we'd probably all be sat wondering what the hell to do with a guitar except play the strings :) I didn't wanna start a debate hahah, just get some pretty unique artists, even if they're not completely unique :) thanks everyone for your posts :)
foolgool
Nickelback and Creed have unique voices, I can pick either one out immediately. The Gorillaz also sound unique. The code in my sig should say 1032 not 0132.

Yeah Nickelback is one of the few unique bands around these days. Gorillaza are just in a whole different league in uniqueness. Red Hot Chilli Peppers are unique also. I can tell if a song is one of their songs even if I haven't heard it just from the way their instruments sound. Supermonk, proving you wrong since 1992.
