This suggestion is simple. In a popular, multi-combat area, it is common to see other people hit on your monster at the exact same time you hit it, but unless all of you hit the same number every time (nigh impossible), you wouldn't know which hits were yours. For all you know, you could have hit a 53 while the person next to you did 0, yet you still lose the kill because it was the other way around!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Here's where my suggestion comes in. I think that making YOUR hits (not anybody else's) turn different colors than the other people's hits would be very useful. If you were the other person, the aforementioned hit would not turn that color, while yours would. This is to avoid confusion over who hit what.

If you change yellow to orange Id support, the yellow doesnt go with the combat feel.

No, no, no. Your hit only appears to you in your color. The other person cannot see the color of your hit, since it isn't theirs, but they CAN see the color of their own hit change, because it is theirs and is used to identify his/her hit.

Doesn't have to be yellow. Yellow was just the first color off the top of my head, especially since green, blue, and red were taken. Choose any color you like :P
