Fencal
Jagex MUST get at least 1000 reports a day, mabey 2000 or more, but as far as i know, jagex takes a small section of reports they cant read and jsut black marks them with the auto response E.g me: i hate it how people use "$$" to say the world a** Nub: *reports* eg2: me: **** you nub: *reports* (accoding to the report abuse updates, when the filter does its job and blocks out the word, its not a offence* I dont know how many people jagex have, but what if your leval 126 with a phat, you get reported and jagex jsut black marks you without checking. Im not saying this is what jagex does, but as far as ive seen pics/evidence this is what they do, im not trying to start a flame war, i just want to know if any can confirm this? Because it seems alot like this. Thank you. they are getting around 10k reports a day or maybe even more... every scammer gets reported 5 times... There ya go to those people who dont read other people post, 10k a day or more..poor jagex....
AniseCookies
They should be all checked or else they arn't doing what they are saying. Everytime you report someone, it sends a 60 second clip of what just happened. But, Jagex has people just to examine those to see if they are right or not. Fencal
Im not sure if they do have specail people JUST too do that, i know mods can look at them and give out bans, but weve seen plently of evidance of reports not being read. what i think ------- They take a selection of reports, scan them for words like "www." "[insert bad word here]"

Fencal
If you got black marked for that lol then I know why and you should too.\/ \/ \/ i'm sure many of you have seen or heard from people that they have been banned for saying a word wich was stared out by accident, well jagex forgot some thing, i was looking back in the updates one day and i see a report abuse update, i look at it and scroll through until i see thing that dont warrant a report Non offensive language e.g noob, froob, choob etc. Starred out language e.g where the chat filter has done its job and filtered out the offending words. I know jagex doesnt folow these rules and its quite easy to guess what there saying
Darkan420
They actually SAID 'noob' isn't offensive but they still banned my account 'That Noob'???? Time for a poorly put together, mountain dew fueld, angry letter.

Fencal
I remember on rs site them saying "The word noob means a new player to the game and is not a insult" Ill edit when i find it EDIT I was called a 'noob'. Is this offensive? Should I report this player? Calling other players a 'noob' is quite common in most online games. It's not something to worry about as it means 'new player'. Every player has to be a 'noob' at some point. The best thing to do is to ignore it.
Warned
According to the staff list Jagex has a special Snapshot and Ban Appeal Team, so i guess they examine every report. AniseCookies
All abuse reports that we receive are looked into and actioned, however it may be that we do not agree with your report or there is not enough evidence in the report and have decided to take no further action against the player. Please do not send in messages about the first report as our decision is FINAL. Also, please do not send in any additional reports unless you see the player breaking the rules again. Warned
I have way too much time so i made a calculation. 46 people on that team, 6 hours a day (9.30 - 17.00 minus 1.5 hours lunch + breaks) and 5 days a week That makes 6*5*46=1380 hours weekly spend on checking reports and appeals. say 2 minutes per report (1 min viewing snapschot 1 min to decide) 1380/(2/60) = 41 400 reports viewed per week, assuming that's eneugh staff there are around 5k reports a day ( 41400/7). SwreeTak
Jagex goes through every offence they get. I have no evidents, but why would they jump over reports in their own game? And I know that is it very many reports a day, but Jagex surerly have alot of people going through those, carefully. Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
Lifelessmyth
In my opinion, I highly doubt Jagex has enough manpower to examine and sort every-single-report sent to them. They've done a good job, but the awnser would clearly be no.
Poison_ivy
They do not examine every single report - that's an impossible task and one that they did not ever promise to do. If, however, they see a pattern (i.e., same person or glitch being reported over and over), they will delve into it. So don't worry over a few misguided words you threw out at someone. Most likely you won't be banned for them.

If you've ever gotten a response for a report, you'll notice that they're the exact same letters. Unless the JAGEX people have been indoctrinated to type out the same exact responses for offenses, I'll bet my money that they're just using an automated response. no_username4
The insinuation that something is impossible just because it's big or hard is ridiculous. There is absolutely NO reason to believe that Jagex does not go through every report they get. They hire a lot of people to go through the reports. It's fairly straightforward. Furthermore, the insinuation that they merely automate balck marks for the majority of their reports is just, well, stupid. There are a lot of people out there who say "I have all these black marks and I've never broken any rules." I don't know about them, but I've been "reported" numerous by n00bs and I have yet to gain a black mark. Ever. Many, as I would call them, n00bs do not know the rules fully. Others merely swear without thinking, and don't realize they've broken any rules. These people then go on to say that they've been balck marked for no reason, and claim that Jagex just randomly hands out black marks.
