Games pretty over rated IMO. Certainly a fairly fun game, but not "the best game ever!" like many people claim...

:3. My little sister is OBSESSED with that game. The only fun parts, in my opinion, are the car/weapon cheats.

Yeah, it's always fun to just run around and decimate everything. After that though it gets a tad boring.

I thought all of the air stuff was awsome in San Andreas. I really liked base jumping off the empire state building.

You could base jump off a building, but it wasn't the Empire State Building. The Empire State Building is in New York, and the three cities in SA copied Las Angeles, San Fransisco, and Las Vegas.

You can base jump off absolutely anything in the game. :D

What I notice about GTA games is that if I could make a graph of "Like for GTA vs. Gaming experience", it would be wild. People who know nothing about games HATE GTA. People who casually game LOVE GTA. GTA takes a lot of flak from people who play a lot of games/say they play alot of games. But people who play a lot of games AND can see the genious of it love it.

I don't even want to have to go over, for about a millionth time why I think GTA: SA is the best game ever, but from the perspective of someone who has played in the triple digets of games and can realise the artistic merit (what? GTA has artistic merit you say? Yes!!), and ultimately find fun in all the different things, you can find a tremendously rewarding and entertaining experience. (woah, run on sentence). I now consider myself to have played most of the best PC games of all time (though I've yet to get deeply into RTS's and space-sims), it really overshadows everything else.

Grand Theft Auto, with the Gran Turismo series is probably the greatest game series I have ever played.

It never takes itself too seriously (far from it), the storylines are clever, almost believable, fun and entertaining. The depth in the games is phenomenal, the attention to detail superb and the game play incredibly fun, which is what you want. So what if the graphics aren't top notch? You don't notice when you're having that much fun.

Never played GTAIII all the way through but it was good, Vice City was very cool, and San Andreas was simply awesome (but just not as quintessentially cool as Vice City).

GTA San Andreas is probably the only game I go back to on the PS2, apart from maybe Gran Turismo with friends.

I've played GTA3, Vice City, and San Andreas. I beat San Andreas, and got stuck on GTA3 and VC. GTA3 was good, but nowhere close to VC and SA. It is definetly the best video game series ever.

Also sometimes if your going extremely fast on a PCJ the graphics dont even catch up and all of a sudden you crash and a tree appears lol

GTA is the best in it's genre and noone contends that. All the other games in it's genre (trust me, I've played just about all of them :P) don't come close. Saints Row was close, but it was a blatant and total copy, too. :P

You youngins' need to go and play GTA1 and GTA2 before you even talk about GTA. :P Hell, most of ya'll haven't even played GTA3, I'd wager. :P
