December 30, 200619 yr This is about anything about Chelsea FC, whether it's their current performance, or "buying the title" which I don't believe. I think that 8 goals conceded in 4 games just isn't good enough. Heres what the BBC website said: 1643: GOAL Chelsea 2-2 Fulham More comedy defending from Chelsea. Michael Ballack fails to clear a cross and while Hilario saves Brian McBride's initial shot he has no chance as Carlos Bocanegra follows up. Sums us up really. With our money, the loss of John Terry, Petr Cech, and Carlo Cudicini should be no excuse. December 30, 200619 yr I don't hate them. And well, money is only a part of the game these days. Besides, it takes more than just money to make a good team. But I'm supporting Arsenal, when it comes down the premiership that is. Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
December 30, 200619 yr I find the fact that a rich Russian buys the best players in the world interesting. Everybody knows that his money isn't clean, but I think it's better that he invests it in football players then in weapons or other dangerous stuff. The only proble I have with these kind of "dream-teams" is that I ask myself how you can really love your club if you hardly have any players left that come from their own youth centre.
December 30, 200619 yr I think Chelsea are a bit ridiculous. I don't particularly dislike them or hate them, but when I went to see them play Middlesborough a few years ago they had about 50m worth of players on the bench. But I suppose that's what football's about nowadays, which is why I don't follow it or play it anymore. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
December 30, 200619 yr the money invloved in football was just about to settle down, then Chelsea come in and ruin it. www.PETAkillsanimals.com
December 30, 200619 yr I hate football as much as i hate chelsea. Everyone hates chelsea, unless you support chelsea, in that case you dont hate chelsea. :D But anyway, Chelsea arent skilled, they have no talent and if it werent for their ridiculous sums of money, they'd be in the 3rd Division Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)
December 30, 200619 yr "Glory, glory Man. United! Glo- " Almost everyone in my school supports Chelsea. Personally, i don't like them but if I say that in my school I'd get rushed :ohnoes: Ultra Unholy,Hearted Machine...
December 30, 200619 yr I hate Chelsea to the core, and although i also hate Man U, im glad they are at the top as they deserve to be. They are finally getting their young players to work with their older ones and so they are a pleasure to watch, and im sure Arsenal will follow suit soon. Chelsea on the other hand simply buy out any potential talent, if only to prevent their rivals getting them. You can't buy hundreds of millions worth of players, all with egos bigger than their tie knots and expect them to work as a team, and they sheer inabilty to realise this frustrates me, as well as the fact that they have the cockiest S.O.B in the history of ever as a manager...
December 30, 200619 yr Bah I couldn't care less about football. It's more a celebrity status than anything. I don't understand the big hype about it, I find it painful to watch. The only interest I have in the game is Thierry Henry, as shallow as that sounds. However a little more on topic, my boyfriend tells me (an avid fan by anyone's measures) that the team is comprised of foreigners, and that he "hates" them. Sorry I could not be any more insightful. Personally I don't understand why football teams are not made up of people from the actual town where the name is derived from. But yeah, my two cents. SHH HUT YUH MUH. DERKHED.
December 30, 200619 yr I dont hate Chelsea but I do hate their new 'fans'. Ever since Abramovich (and his Billions) came to Chelsea and started to spend big money on big names Chelsea's fanbase has rapidly grown just because they are now winning trophies. These people make me sick, so called fans who go to their flavour of the month teams and claim to be a true diehard fans of the team when they are just glory hunters. When Roman gets bored of Chelsea and the money is gone I wonder where these fair-weather fans will be. True fans support their team no matter what win lose or draw. ctp080188 - The only ever great team comprised of local players was the European Cup winning Celtic side of '67. They were the first British team to win it and every one of their players grew up within 10 miles of the stadium. A feat which has never been equaled since and probably never will be. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
December 31, 200619 yr chelsea are ok considering they have drogba lampard and terry but i think arsenal rules!!!!!!!!!
December 31, 200619 yr Author I do agree that the glory-hunters spoil the Chelsea fan's reputation. I've always hated glory-hunters, especially back in the days when Chelsea would get beaten by Man Utd or Arsenal on a regular basis. Or by liverpool :) I'm a Liverpool fan, but I want Man U to win it. I went to the Villa-Man U game, and they were awesome. Fergie is truely one of the managerial greats :P Ronaldo is insanely good
December 31, 200619 yr I'm a Man U fan through and through, and I honestly feel that Chelsea F.C. is buying the Premiership title instead of using home-grown, young talent. Not that's it's wrong, I guess, but it's really ticking me, and a lot of people off. I love Man U, and look, half their talent is home-grown. Young, unestablished players are brought into the club and groomed into fabulous football players. Look at Giggs, Scholes, and G. Neville, all of them have been in Man U for almost their entire career. Known formerly as Ameoba3000. Now known as Vigoss.
December 31, 200619 yr I like Chelsea. But not because everyone does. But me and my dad were watching a match between chelsea and deportivo.(if my memory does not fail me) As always, when me and my dad watch a match together, he asked me what team I'd like to see win. And, as always, I chose one team, and my dad chose the other. Now mostly I lose these kind of "bets" :XD: And it looked like I was going to again, but Chelsea won! I've been a fan of them since that day :) I had never heard before of them either :XD:
