January 2, 200719 yr Okay, today I was ranging at monsters when I felt dumb about standing beside a wall in clear light. Then I thought, "Hmm...I wish I could pull a Sam Fisher right about now." So I came here to ask players what about combining Ranging and agility to make it so that basically, you hide behind a wall and lean around to shoot. In Castle Wars you would crouch behind the battlement and fire between the "lumps" in the wall. Anyone think this would be a good idea? ----- Weaknesses: Training agility would improve how you do it. If your agility lvl is 1, then you will miss many shots. It cant be done with long bows, they are too big for the space provided. Mage Improvement: Mages can make an invincible shield for about .5sec every 30sec. This way if they are in a tight spot they can block that guy with the Whip. Melee Improvement: Maces would be chained so you can sling them about 2 squares away. Sorta like a numbchuck. ----- A few more additons: Battlements could be destroyed, then respawn 5 min l8er. The corners of walls could be chipped off. The arrows would do 5% less damage, and 20% less accuracy. ----------

January 3, 200719 yr That would be reely nice, so would the ability to dodge incomeing arrows. but this would be a major update. think for one moment, the combat system is a triangle of balance give one class to much power and they will upset the balance. the only way to remidy this would be to give more power to the other classes. perhaps a tie in with agility or somthing else that would affect mele and mage as well. for example mages could do a sort of short range teleport within say ten squars of there choseing. then that meens mele needs to be more powerfull or they will get crushed by the mages who can just keep out distanceing them. In short this is an interesting Idea but this is runescape, not a simulation of the midevial world. January 3, 200719 yr But then you sometimes should fail and hit the wall with the arrow, or leaning too far so that you fall and miss some shots while getting back into position... Currently selling: 15k air runes for 225k (15ea) 6k steel bars for 3.6m (600ea)

January 5, 200719 yr it would be unfair if you would be invulnerable to the front, why not make so you get 200% damage when attacked from your backside, and 75% damage when attacked from your front, and that it takes several seconds to hide or stop hiding... My 2 cents
