Was wondering when someone was going to post a pic of an item from the shop :D

Seriously , to all the people who say "people would think I'm if I wore that."

You really need to stop caring what other people think, stop trying to impress people

I agree. I've only been called a geek/nerd twice while wearing my shirt, and that was my finance, so it doesn't really count.

If someone at school starts teasing you about it, don't let them. You can be the biggest geek in a school, but if you don't take anything from anyone, they won't bother with you.

Hehe, I wouldn't wear it just because its a runescape shirt ;p. I don't play the game anymore and I find it to be one of the worst MMO's on the market, would be silly for me to wear it XD.

I would wear a TIF shirt though. 8-)

Mmm.. I go to university.. so.. mostly we're past the "omgz, what if people think i am a nerd, my whole life will be ruined forever and I'll die a virgin" stage of the patheticness that is highschool :D . In fact.. these kinds of shirts are a good talking point, rather than other boring 'American Eagle' or whatever brands you low self-esteemed children buy, where you pay a premium to advertise someone else's company and then just look like everyone else :P

Anyway, I am a geek, so want to let other geeks know so that they can find me easily in a crowd :D ;) Of course.. I don't play RS any more.. but still.. tip.it rocks :D

For it is the greyness of dusk that reigns.

The time when the living and the dead exist as one.

It's not that we are worried about being called "geeks", it's just that we don't care for Runescape anymore. I wore a shirt with a huge pi symbol on the front of it, and everyone called me a math nerd. I was OK with it :P .

Was it from Hail-NekoYasha?

I'm not sure what that is, but it sounds anime, so I'll never know what it is.

The shirt was actually a free shirt given out by a company that makes a cologne called "Pi". On the shirt it makes no reference to the company or to the cologne, I only knew it was for that because I also got a free sample of the cologne.

Yeah true, but still why would you bother waisting $20 when you could buy another shirt and not be called that. Don't get me wrong I would wear it in public if someone gave it to me for free, I don't have that low self-esteem.

But seriously does TIF have some buy 5 items from the shop get phr33 M0D St4tu5 or something going on. :P

Ohhh ... it's a prommy from deviantArt. She sells freaking awesome shirts that have the pi symbol on them.

Woo thinkgeek :D I have that shirt :D Except when I wear it, I get hit on more often, because geek girls appear to be a commodity

Edit: Ah! It's a different pi shirt - nevermind. But, I still like pi. Yay :D

Everybody hug and spread the love :D

It's called ignoring them. If people tease you, then tease them back. Stand up for yourself.

That's a lot easier in some schools and neighborhoods than others. There's something to be said for not getting your body severely damaged.

If it's really that bad, that people hurt you horribly for just wearing a non-offensive shirt, then I'd seriously question just what neighborhood this was. I'd notify a principal or a police officer at once.

That's not always very effective. But meh - I'm not going to make this into an argument about privilege :P Just - there's nothing noble about getting hurt and martyring yourself for the "cause" of geekiness... anyway.

Instead, I will say: Yay geeky t-shirts :D

You need to take a reality check. We're talking about Geeks here. Haven't you watched Nepolean Dynamite. :P

If I wore that, I'd go even lowerr on the social scale.

Oh wait, that's not possible, nevermind ::'

It doesn't matter what neighborhood you're in. You should always stand up for yourself and your friends. I know I do..

Yeah that's real mature there. If they tease you, ignore them - end of story. Fighting back just makes you look as bad as them.

And in future, edit your post instead of double posting.

No you wouldn't. According to your other post you'd strike back at them. People are just making up this "OMG IF I WORED THAT I WUD B BEETEN TO DETH!!!!!11" as an excuse. I'd wear one, but I have no means of paying for it online. Yeah, i'd probably get laughed at, but I don't care to be honest.
