Most of the people who wear rune plate's are F2P, so they don't get affected by this. And for P2P there are already even better alternatives. Besides that, IMHO a rune plate will be much easier to get, just go to world 2, or any F2P world with much people in it, and you can buy you're rune plate in a few minutes. And you won't get an granite body that easy. EDIT: I just saw that the granite body needs 50 defense and 50 strength. And a rune plate only needs 40 defense. Rune plate: Def requirement is 40 Granite plate: Def requirement is 50 It's requirement is higher, thats why it has better defence stats. If memory serves the legs are of a different style and are a lighter gray, so I'm wondering how they would look together.
