Heh, pretty much. As far as I can tell, they're just dragging it on as long as they possibly can. I don't think they have the millions of fans they used to.

Yeah, because the people who did that (such as me) did it when we were 6. And the fact that we only do that, makes us normal. :D

I think it's that Pokemon MMORPG in the traditional Red/Blue chipset. I tried it out just for the heck of it. It's clumsy, it took about 20 seconds to move 1 step, and I encountered a grand total of 0 battles in 30 mins. I beat the first gym leader with no previous XP points.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Could be fun as a RPG, but not unless they make it more interesting...

So, this one time, this guy was playing yu-gi-oh, and I said "d00d don't trade you're charmander for that meu2, once he evolves to lvl 70 he's like un-beat-able." Then he walked away with an insulted look on his face.

I miss the fun Pok̮̩̉̉mon games...Pok̮̩̉̉mon's gotten boring...:(

They'd make fun of the person because of the associated connotations with the game. The game came out when they were young. Therefore they associate it with being young, so they'd laugh at him. But that says nothing about the value of the game and whether or not someone can be too old to play it.

i actually have a theory that deep down, supressed and chained up, every boy who grew up in the pokemon era (like 1989-93 or w/e) still yearns to play pokemon again. I admit i still like the little critters (only the red/blue/yellow 'mons mind, the rest are bollocks) and i reckon every other boy around my age probably does too :uhh:
