paulhartman
Sorry if this has already been suggested. But, how about this strategy? The defender goes directly to the Horn of Glory ( HOG ) and calls out instructions to the other 4 players. He does not try to lure any Runners at this point. He is the only person calling instructions, leaving the other four to concentrate on their jobs. The team has 2 collectors who try to get as many red and green eggs into the cannon as possible. At first anyway, they use the cannon only on the Runners. They completely ignore the blue eggs, and use the time for collecting blue eggs to fire the cannon. The healer is now responsible for healing 3 people besides himself, the defender being safe at the HOG. ( At least, it think that the defender can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t be attacked, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t know this for sure. ) When he has time, he poisons the Penance Healers. The attacker first kills all the rangers, then the fighters. If he kills all of them before the game is over, and this has been my experience, he then relieves the defender at the HOG. At this point, the defender can start killing any Runners that are left. I have been on three teams that have killed the queen, so I have some experience with the game, but not nearly as much of some of you others. So, for those with more experience, does this sound like a good idea?
pompey_spud
well i suppose its ok, but the defender will get very very low individual points, so it isnt fair on him. also, theres a high possibility that some runners will get out of range of the cannons, losing points for the whole team. jade_slayer6
i prefer 2 healers unless its a lower wave game, then its normal plus whoever needs points up in a certain area just owned the queen with an awesome team \
WolfhunterXZ
Bad. Defenders are important. Every Runner that makes it to the end lowers not only the defenders points, but also the teams points for the end of the wave. Wolfy is Officially Retired.I miss you all (Well, mostly my friends n stuff)If you want to talk to me, send me a message, I check the boards daily. :D
Vashinred
I think it would work if one of your teammates is bad at using his horn and his job. Also, If the above happens on a high wave like nine (even Ten) it could work. but then lower waves are just so easy. http://vashinred.googlepages.com/
doomy
Seems alright....2 healers is the best for queen though.... Doomy edit: I like sheep
Defender2516
A level 5 healer can hold his own at queen. I am a level 4 Defender now.. the only thing that bugs me about healers is not using the horn and giving me the udpates every 30 seconds.. messes up my lure strategy alot. ~Defender~ If you love me, send me a PM. 8 - Love me2 - Hate me
Golvellius
The strategy you use depends on your team. If you have a weak team, then 2 healers and defenders uses horn so nobody dies. (This would get you through till the queen, then defender has to do his job) If you have a strong team, use 2 attackers. They generate lots of eggs for the collector to load the cannon. They finish off the enemies offense very fast, then goto the cannons while the healer and defender help mop up. aznmidget448
2 healers are quite helpful with the queen... but I guess it's a pretty good idea :anxious:
jessy87
ive played games with 2 defenders 2 attackers and 2 healers, never 2 collectors... your idea is sound at lower waves seeing how defenders dont get points, at least not as many as the healer might get, i got like 10-20ish points on waves 1-3 per wave where as defender, like 0-1 point as defender on waves 1 and 2. i was a lvl 1 defender with a lvl 4 defender duel defenering for like the first 6 waves and we got crazy good points cuz of her. really on the teams ive played with as long as commands are given correctly we do good, except for the weapon glitch as a fighter...id be use my dscimmy on aggresive and it got stuck on controlled you can tell by, 1 the sound made 2, by the poking motion not the downward slash/beat. and i had this happen with my whip getting stuck on defensive and not being on accurate, seriously annoying. also, Dbaxe spec for barb assault is OKAY since your combat stats dont restore u cant rebaxe a bunch without sacrificing attack and defense levels. a bonus is the first baxe spec sets up for powered up ddagger specials next wave. xSxqPowerx
Why doesn't everyone just communicate with the little horns like they should, and the defender just lure the runners quickly?
stan18
if you have a good defender, you'll find that he/she will finish his/her task 2nd or 3rd.
hoffmanbmxx
i usually had 2 attackers from wave 1-9 then on wave 10 have 2 healers, although this only works if you have a high level team. there isnt really a "best strategy"... because it depends on wether you want to get the most points out of a wave, or to get through the wave quicker. the strategy i used to get through the waves the fastest is to have everyone do their jobs as normal.. except the collector focuses on only the red and green eggs, and when the time comes to collect blue eggs thats when he goes for the runners. i did this with a team of 115+ cb players, and managed to get through all the waves in just under 40 minutes. in all i have killed the queen 17 times. 120+ combat 1800+ total | level 76 rscwhip drops: 31abyssal heads: 1dark bows:

I played with a level 100, 80, 70, and an 85, who didn't wear armor, at the Queen as a Level 5 Healer, and it was annoying as hell to keep them alive -.- .
