I thought "special" like what most of the dragon weapons have....a special attack under the Stab/Lunge/Slash/Block menu thing. Something weird, when I first got the Keris, it slowly drained my prayer. Then I recharged my prayer, and it seems to be okay now. Odd. Dr_Locust Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 Same here, was fighting Kalphite Workers...the dagger is very accurate against them...not amazing or anything...sort of like Silverlight is to demons, I'd say Keris is to Kalphite/beetle monsters. That happened to me aswell, but I think that was because I was praying during the boss fight and the final cutscene removed the pray-icon from above my head but didn't actually stop the prayer. The prayer draining stoped when I flipped protect from melee on and off a couple of times. I have 91 strength and wasn't fully potted (Had gone down to what must have been ~99 strength) nor was I using prayer. Larsie538 Posted January 11, 2007 Share Posted January 11, 2007 hey tug i fought with you together, anyway same conclusion as tugrul, its worthless against kallies. also tried the 85's edit: tip.it says i can hit 31 max with the 30 str bonus provided by the keris, my thoughts are that jagex forgot to add kalphites to the "special effect" list of the keris since some ppl report it does work on scarabs and locust riders EDIT: mod ash just posted on the forums that there was a bug with the keris against kalphites, my geuss was right then after all. gonna try again now. edit again: OWNED the keris seems to be as good as a whip normally, with these blows occuring like every 5 mins. doesnt seem to be as bad as i (and many) supposed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
