Just been at kalphites with the dagger.

 

 

 

Killed 20 of them (guardians) and saw nothing that points at a special effect.

 

 

 

But I seemed to hit relatif high and offen.

 

 

 

So i think it works like a salve ammy.

Same here, was fighting Kalphite Workers...the dagger is very accurate against them...not amazing or anything...sort of like Silverlight is to demons, I'd say Keris is to Kalphite/beetle monsters.

That happened to me aswell, but I think that was because I was praying during the boss fight and the final cutscene removed the pray-icon from above my head but didn't actually stop the prayer. The prayer draining stoped when I flipped protect from melee on and off a couple of times.

I hit a 36 on Locust Mage.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have 91 strength and wasn't fully potted (Had gone down to what must have been ~99 strength) nor was I using prayer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Should easily be able to hit 40+

your all comparing it to the slave ammy, but if you think about it it would be more like the gadder hammer is to shades, or (like said) silver/darklight is to deamons, meaning that whip is probaly better and that it will be no use at KQ unless it can really hit 60+ (which i doubt)

edit: tip.it says i can hit 31 max with the 30 str bonus provided by the keris,

 

 

 

my thoughts are that jagex forgot to add kalphites to the "special effect" list of the keris since some ppl report it does work on scarabs and locust riders

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: mod ash just posted on the forums that there was a bug with the keris against kalphites, my geuss was right then after all. gonna try again now.

the keris seems to be as good as a whip normally, with these blows occuring like every 5 mins. doesnt seem to be as bad as i (and many) supposed
